Hurry up and sort out Equinox

I need Pyerite. So I went and mined not too bad isk/hr stuff like Kylixium but I ended up with too much of what I don’t need and not enough Pyerite.

So I went and mined Mordonium and this is what I got after about 90mins. No boost. Max skilled Mack using B’s, ferrying it to the station when full. 4 loads I think.

30mill isks worth!

Quadruple the amount of pyerite that is inside those rocks, NAOIW!

It was a Tier 2 upgrade so the rocks were 30,000m3 so I wasn’t immediatly uninstalling but make them all 50-60,000 whilst your at it.

Look up the word “miserable” as that is what you have made mining become.

Pull your finger out and sort this out. Equinox was 8 or 9 months ago.

I’m sorry you weren’t able to AFK mine for 37 hours straight. Will you be alright?

So you literally picked one of the worst rocks to mine and are upset about the quality of the rock. Way more rocks that can give you pyerite. I smell a troll…

Ytirium 0.6m³ 4.000 1 218.4 ISK 600.00 ISK+21.84%
Ducinium 16m³ 0.106 533.06 ISK 8 261.0 ISK+3.24%
Eifyrium 16m³ 0.166 401.83 ISK 5 918.0 ISK+8.64%
Mordunium 0.1m³ 8.000 198.80 ISK 174.10 ISK-88.58%

I wasn’t in an A0 Star site. I was in the Tier 2 version of one of those new Equnox update mining sites. I don’t know the official name, sorry. So there wasn’t any of those other ores you mention there.

Wait those other rocks don’t even have Pyerite in them. That was the whole point of my post.

Kylixium is for Mexallon. For Pyerite you want Mordunium, Scordite, or Gniess (can also do Zeolites from Moons in a pinch). In my opinion, Null sec should still be importing High sec minerals (via compressed ores). The mining upgrades are meant to supplement logistics, not replace.

Below is sorted by Pyerite for ores using cerlestes.de - Ore Table for EVE Online

Pyrite is in Pyroxeres, too. The pyroxeres rocks found in empire space are microscopic, but wormholes have nice and large ones you can afk on until your retriever is full (note that there are some npc spawns that appear once per anomaly, 15~20 minutes after the first player has entered the anomaly, so you might want to warp into it with a scout ship first, then come back with something combat capable such as a rapid light caracal to clear the frigate npcs after 20+ minutes and once those are dealt with you can afk crab in the anomaly without npc interference as unlike empire belts, there’s no new rat spawns in wormholes)

Another source for it is ubiquitous moon ore. It can be pulled by athenors on moons at 0.5 sec and below that, though you might want to talk with the other miners crabbing the moon about the conditions to crab there. Many moons are “load Ubiqutous Moon Ore Mining Crystal Type B II and hit F1” policy moons but some require “mining tax” to be payed to the station operator.

The 0.5 moons belts are generated by player corporations primarily to have crabbing content for themselves. However, once they have it, most highsec mining corps face the “problem” that they have more ore then they can mine, so you can usually just join their fleet and enjoy mining foreman boosts and stuff. A nice ubiquitous pull in highsec provides enough pyrite to build a battleship fleet.

Moon pulls in high sec work the same way as mining the static asteroid belts. You will get the normal belt rats every 15-20 minutes. If there is a Pirate FOB in the system or nearby, you will get paid a visit by diamond rats. If there is a Sansha Incursion going on, then you will have to deal with Sansha rats.

And there’s nothing you can do about the general public mining your moon op. You have two choices. Bump them until they give up, or gank them.

Instead of wasting precious time bumping unauthorized miners or sitting out CONCORDs 15 minute rage timer, there is also the option of outsourcing the task of taking care of the unauthorized miners to the miner disposal service

Well looks like we are getting 5percent. That is just not enough. Mining this crap goes from approx 20m/hr to 21m/hr so people won’t do it.
