Why not CCP just cancel all High Sec area?

@Black_Pedro

I do find the hysterics around this amusing, but people, you need to take a deep breath. A minor change in the geography of New Eden is the most trivial of shake ups. Maybe it seems catastrophic because things have been static for so long, but changing the security status of a few percent of highsec/lowsec systems (and adding cyno jammers) is not equivalent to “canceling” highsec.

Lets not be stupid.
Niarja falling from highsec is one of the largest geography changes possible.
It’s going to have huge impact on Amarr space, it’s massively disrupting the trade routes.
It’s at least on par with the removal of the Yulai super gates.

Sure it’s not removing highsec, but lets not pretend it’s an insignificant change either.

What they forgot to tell you then was:

GET YOUR WALLET OUT, CAUSE YOU WILL NEED IT.

Utter rubbish.
