so getting rid of it was completely retarded. IMO. Why not maximize risk vs reward. make players use some kind of tech that will maintain channels. like if empires maintain highsec channels force players to maintain nullsec channels by forcing them to use some kind of “communications” structure.
This has 2 faults and will always have:
- either the sov holders pay for the structure so that everyone has local, enemies included. That’s not really fair.
- or only the sov holder has local but no one else, which incredibly disadvantages enemies and hunters.
Pick your poison.
Local as it is is the best solution to all problems. Regardless of what incompetent people like Falcon say.
