So AFAIK there has been no announcement for Winter Nexus 2025. Are we getting one this year?

It’s still November, man. Just chill.

The last two years, Winter Nexus started on 5 December. If they do the same this year, CCP will probably announce it on Monday or Tuesday. In years prior, it started later—closer to mid-December—and ran for less time.

If it starts on the 5th, that’s 3 days between Catalyst daily rewards and Winter Nexus daily rewards.

It was only November for a couple days! Having some info for when an event starting sometime in the next week or two wouldn’t be bad!!! Especially for all the indy guys that can use the information to jack up prices on things used during said event. Would also be nice to know if they are adding stuff to Winter Nexus like they did to Crimson Harvest!

Ahh, the Winter Nexus: Hunters in the Storm

From December 9 to January 12

  • Enter Volatile Ice Storms for seasonal challenges.
  • Hunt Yoiul LADs for special tech that unlocks more within the storms.
  • Get daily login rewards including Skill Points, SKINs, and more.
  • Unlock seasonal challenge rewards, including the Perseverance ice mining destroyer, PLEX, Skill Points & more.

Cool, the Yoiul Lads are back… :slightly_smiling_face:

Yay, another Mining Destroyer being added to the game… :smirking_face:

And of course the usual account bound Log-in rewards of SP’s, Skins, Skinr mats and boosters… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Not the first time they’ve handed out limited edition stuff. Geckos, Leopards, the Gnosis was originally handed out like this.

Furthermore, completing challenges will advance you along the seasonal reward track, unlocking PLEX, Skill Points, SKINs, and a blueprint for the Perseverance, a new ice-mining variation of the Pioneer mining destroyer.

This vessel is not available anywhere else, so start preparing for the challenges right now! A mining destroyer, first introduced with the Pioneer that came with the Catalyst expansion, is the perfect step up from the Venture, bridging the gap between a frigate and a barge.

Yeah, but those items were given out in the Log-in rewards to everyone, not as a BPC gained from completing an event…

All I have to say, We better have a Winter Nexus, because I wrote a carol about it!

I see no appreciable difference between them handing out a ship and a BPC. Maybe a little wiggle in mineral prices, but destroyers don’t take a lot to make.
