Player count is way up from last year. Chill out man
More accurately, the average number of accounts logged in (not players) is up from last year. Although thatās āgoing upā from the lowest account activity since 2006, so itās really just recovery from CCP spending a couple years hammering the economy flat.
Also, turns out a lot of those logins were just alts being used to farm exploits from various new FW mechanics introduced this year, followed by a free Omega giveaway. Now that the exploit has been declared, numbers are already falling off even during EVEās usual busy season.
Weāll have to give it a bit to see where the actual login activity settles out.

You can say whatever you want, Player count is up, and things are moving in the right direction
The Winter Nexus in lowsec is identical to hisec ā¦ i was hoping for better loot but NOPE:
Combat sites are the same - loot drop is the same (more ISK bounty but that applies to everithing) avg. 7 mil ISK per BS
Mining sites give green crates just like in hisec so no need to bother unless youāre a masochist.
i havenāt touched the hacking sites but i expect no difference there too.
In conclusion if youāre a null snowflake then enjoy your rewards, anybody else can make more ISK spinning ships in station while flipping PLEX in the market.

Incorrect null is only about half the reward of lowsec. with highsec being about half null. course you cant do the lowsec sites wihtout bands of 50+ a holes comming after you

Hacking sites in low are yellow, and give ~25M on average. Itāsā easy if you are the one coming after others 
A big portion of safety in lower sec space is to look scary. ;D
It has bored me to tears high seccing this event but Iāve made a ton of isk. Iād have had a great time if I hadnāt gotten greedy with the low/null sec filaments. All that did was get me ganked and wasted a lot of time/generated a lot of frustration.
Other than that though this event really helped the old bank account.

My thoughts exactly, you can make a bunch of isk off of this event. People just donāt want to try and have CCP hand them gifts.

Iām enjoying it. Couple sites a night, sittinā on about a quarter bill. Iām even starting to enjoy the āfind the cursorā aspect of it. I just wish the Overseers loot icons were more interesting. Justā¦ like a splash of color coding or something.
Wellā¦Iāve been deluged with free Aurora skins during the event. Which is good as I like them.
Funny QOL from CCP during the event:
you can mine ice units and deposit them in a player station. once you have as many as you want warp to the ice site orca and open the box to exchange ice (have 7 ice in mining hold) but donāt exchange anything, just warp back to player station. Once in you are docked you can move ice from the station to your mining hold and exchange the ice as if you were next to the orca

Take out the inflated values for SKINs and many of the boostersā¦
And the very next Filament lands me 5 jumps from Jita.
