Wondering how many "mega multis" will be heading to Exordium to avoid ganks

:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Sure thing, whatever eases that bruised ego. Carry on, flagger.

This makes me happy! I love it simply because of how many people are complaining about it! Doesn’t even affect them, but they act like it’s the end of the world! Popcorn material!

There’s definitely a lot of paranoia…

And we are usually right. I’ll be preparing several “I told you so’s” for after the 9th…

I 100% guarantee that it won’t affect me at all.

“You told us so…” that there are going to be a lot of whiners in a few weeks? No doubt!

This is why we need a list.

/ mostly to list the issues that seem to be

// also are we still allowed to talk in local to perhaps deliver psychological warfare?

///
Example

We could tell the new pilots that if they jump through the gate their ship will explode.

I have asked a handful of people on this forum, and in game as well…how does this new content that youre complaining about effect you. You know, like directly how does it effect you.

I havent gotten a clear reasonable answer yet.

Me either. I will continue to do what ive always done.

Im sure both sides of the spectrum have their guns loaded and chambered.

It makes me sad, that the new players won’t get to experience the EvE I did.

I guess the EvE I experienced is gone anyway, but Exordium makes it worse.

And just what experience is that? By getting repeatedly blown up, their meager belongings destroyed and then laughed at in local?

I’ll take alligator tears for $500 please, Ken.

Say what? It was repeatedly said that newbies have not been subject to ganking before and that this was not the cause for them quitting the game. It was even written down by CCP/FC as introduction to Exordium that this was not the case. So don’t turn this argument upside down now!

If you are talking about repeated blowups on the way to Jita, which you may confuse with your first statement, then this is still going to happen. Because once you are on your way to Jita, you are no newbie anymore and a valid target. And maybe you will be laughed at in local. All valid for a veteran on the way to Jita that creates an easy target.

Says who? Being the largest trading hub and the central trading hub in Caldari space (where most new players originated up until Exordium) - you can’t really use this as a measuring stick.

It still wasn’t explained by the person I was replying to (NOT you, Power Armor) just what newbie experience will be so sadly missed? I still want to know.

Nope, as I said earlier in this thread, or another one like it, that was the experience of spending a couple of days skilling into a probe and sneaking into other players level 4 missions and nicking all their loot and salvage.
There won’t be anyone running lvl 4s or even 3s in Exordium for noobs to ninja loot

And without suspect status, there won’t be any ninja looting, either…

Nobody will be able to answer your question. All theyre going to throw at you is what they think is an overall effect of theoretical assumptions. Nobody has still proven a thing. Nobody will know anything until June 9th and after when all the rules are set and all the numbers are crunched.

Nobody knows a damn thing.

But I did :confusedparrot:

Yea, youre sad.

Heres a flower for you…for real.

:rose:

That can wait a few days until the newbies learn how to pilot their ships and leave Exordium for the wider fields of Eve. There’s no reason for anyone to “miss out” on the full experience. They just may not have it for up to a month is all.

As I said (possibly in another of these threads) I don’t see why giving the newbies a little time and breathing room to get settled into the game is so controversial. It might be different if many criminal types actually taught and explained how to avoid getting blown up/scammed but, in all my years in Eve, I’ve witnessed way less of that than folks killing for the LOLs and/or tears.
