Well,… technically he’s correct… EVE is closer to a warehouse simulator with PvP elements 
On a more serious note, what he’s saying is that EVE is so vast and has so many play styles supported that it’s not played exclusively as a PvP game by many players. Sure PvP is one of its core features, but it’s not the only one core feature.

Others will see just how toxic farmers are and strive to not be like you. You may not stop, but others will be persuaded. Most people just want to have fun, and not deal with toxicity.
I know that technically, thats correct.
But, ill always see EVE Online as a PVP game…no matter the specifics.

When im playing this game…im escaping reality. I leave it behind. I grab and hug my bouquets and share them with other people. What i feel in this game is only my decision and nobody elses.
My path in this game is to spread the righteous word. To educate people how this game should be approached and played in their own way…or i at least try. I do that so that players like yourself will be more comfortable in the game and actually learn how to avoid the very demons of the spectroverse that youre so afraid of. These demons can be so very avoided if you just accept that word.
I think you owe everyone on this forum an apology. All these nasty demons that youre continuing to preach about are all giving you free content, and your just completely ignoring them and missing out on some of the best game play that you could ever experience. How dare you just blatantly turn a blind eye to the people that are all here trying to help you.
I just hope in any future cycle that you expand your mind past that little box youre in and properly receive that righteous word thats being shared here.

This is so much fun. It directly shatters the dreams of everyone that had proposed and requested the PVP-free space, rendering the new region completely useless for them.
Their characters are all well over 30 days old and new characters lack the efficiency for mining and once they have it, they are also 30 days old and have to stop mining in the region.
Not exactly what the whiners were after. And i will scout the belts to report any illegal miner if i find one of course.
