I also voted neutral. Unless I get ganked this week, then it’ll be “grrrrr… gankers”.
No one should be neutral on such a topic. We gotta stand up against those gankers together!
I’m neither for or against because I believe there should be ways of encouraging PvP other than seal clubbing, ganking or baiting.
Ganking is not sealclubbing.
Even today, many (if not most) of the people I gank have been playing YEARS longer than me. I’m the new player. Ganking is a way for new players to level the playing field, and fight back against lazy bittervet carebears.
Duels - seal clubbing. Suspect baiting - seal clubbing. Ganking small ships and new players - seal clubbing.
And I wouldn’t throw around terms like “lazy”, “carebear” and “bittervet” - they apply equally to many gankers (not all, but many).
Speaking of which, do you know how many gankers have traded in the ‘ol catalyst for a mining destroyer to get in on the military campaigns (particularly mining)? A lot.
I watched quite a few of you mine away and send me fleet invites to use the compression service on my Orca, lol. I did oblige, btw (I don’t hold any grudges!)
Who?
Name and shame, or it didn’t happen.
None of them were in my alliance.
…and what of actual ganking? Ganking large ships, and not new players?
Be careful what you wish for as Frosty knows your deepest secrets in New Eden.
Reason for calling you a witch isn’t given out lightly.
Frosty knows what you did.
I didn’t make a note of individual pilots, only that they were all on my “red” list (yes Aiko, you’re on the naughty list as well).
At this point, not puttin Aiko on the naughty list is like insulting her.
There is a very old gaming industry theorem.
Quality of a game is inverse-proportional to the quantity of MARBLE employed on it.

What’s the current population of Exordium like? Have any if these mass-miners moved in to suck the asteroid fields dry?
Butt, butt, butt none of them were mine? ![]()
I often wonder if you people get a laugh outta some of this stuff but can’t return a chuckle? Guess we’ll never know…
Of course they do. Why do you think it takes so long for them to take care of them. Its because theyve chuckled about it. Im sure they also let the threads go chaotic for awhile, get a good laugh, then do their due diligence.
Im sure the biggest kick they get are all the ganking threads and the depths of hell those threads seem to go every single time.
Let’s hope so!
Currently had found that local is rather chatty!
Less pilots asking for help so can we guess that is a positive?
My highsec belts see less traffic so I assume pilots are mining in more secure locations?
Your understanding of the value of Veldspar seems rather limited. High-Security miners frequently cherry-pick asteroid belts and leave the Veldspar untouched. That assumes someone took the time to mine a full belt. Those involved in industry would rather not touch it. These days, NPC miners tend to be the ones clearing complete belts.
Scordite has better m3 value, but rarely is worth the trouble. When a player is seen mining it for more than the 2k daily, they are usually piloting a Pioneer. Great ship for an Alpha account to mine some isk. My characters fly Pioneers to complete the daily in high-sec. Even my top-skilled Exhumer pilots only mine the high-sec Scordite, Plagioclase, or Pyroxeres ore in a Pioneer. Why? Faster to warp into belt, approach the rocks, and start mining than a barge. Two cycles of lasers for 2k Scordite or 3 for 2k Plagio. I’m not undocking a mining barge for such low payout.
Want to see high-sec miners start calling for PvP? Warp into an ice belt or rare ore anomaly in the wrong system. That’s how Catalysts get CONCORD’ed. Of course, the mining pilots never see CONCORD respond. If their lucky, miners warp out with their pod. If a little slow, they are back at home station before CONCORD responds.
Not seeing how 0-grade Veldspar and Scordite will be of any value to players with 30 days of skill points. Half-yield of worthless is sill worthless.
Thanks, that gave me a good laugh.
