You are wrong in assuming new players would need to leave Exordium on day 31.
You can stay there and mine or do other things as long as you want. As long as you are not negatively affecting the environment by quickly removing content with extreme high tech equipment or your own multiboxfleet, bumping ships with Machariels or something like that.
Guess, introverted solo players will be hanging at Exordium.
Exordium current mechanics is just the beginning. It will evolve over time. Lots of events can be done there without the risks of being affected by untamed PVP
On my, it certainly is a new dawn. A simple short post that just explained it all.
This sums it all up right here 100%. Theres been a pretty sizable group of people that have stated that they were going there to mingle with the new players, to show them the way, to show them what they need to know for their travels into the rest of the game. Most of us, including me…a person that didnt like this idea at first but do now…are excited about socializing with new blood in the game.
What did a few select here do? They went totally batshit and automatically thought we were all going there to get instantly rich off of worthless resources. We are all going to drive huge fleets of exhumers and mine the entire area out. No other thoughts were stated about any other positive mechanics that could occur there…these few went straight to the negatives.
We even have an official Barney FIfe in there that will be watching for players over 30 days old dare to light off a laser. Talk about letting their logic go straight to the pooper.
And? Big internet tough guy showing up to whiteknight someone that has been crying and calling names over several threads. Good for you!
oh, really? I’m pretty sure i’ve been far more constructive than you or uta. Please, internet whiteknight, show me where I am lashing out at everybody. Show me where I am upset at all.
Cry me a river about ganking. Nobody cares. Piracy and PVP are part of the game. Don’t like it? Go play something else.
Wrong.
"Currently, new players in EVE are afforded a measure of protection from PvP while in the starter systems, career agent systems, and SoE epic arc systems, by a rule posted on our support website, and more generally by the fact that new players usually don’t carry valuable items that make them worthwhile targets for “suicide ganking”. (Of course, this doesn’t mean they are never targeted, just that it is quite uncommon.)
However, new players do not know this, and will often have read stories about how ruthless and cutthroat New Eden can be, or even specific stories of new players being destroyed in highsec space. This means that some new players are learning the basics of EVE Online under a cloud of anxiety, knowing that another player could show up and attack them at any time."
These new systems are because of professional crybabies like yourself and uta. Constantly whining and crying about piracy, constantly claiming this isnt a pvp oriented game. Constantly claiming ganking is pushing new players out of the game. You’re wrong. You’re always wrong. You always will be wrong.
armchair psychology at its finest. You must have a phd in internet bull ■■■■.
Free speech is a political term regarding discontent towards a government. It is not a thing that pertains to attacking and calling people names on a video game forum.
Hey genius, read what the text says. That comes straight from CCP. PVP is A core element. Go ahead and burn your strawman.
What you typed has absolutely nothing to do with what you quoted from me.
Do you normally not wear both shoes?
I don’t mine anymore. I don’t need to. It’s a waste of my time. At most, I will go provide boosts to new players in the new systems once in a while.
What?
CCP is posting information about content that isnt released. What am I supposed to look at other than what information is being provided?
I’ll post this again since it appears you never bothered to read anything on the announcement.

These new systems arent being brought in because new players are being targeted and forced out of the game like you anti gank babies cry about all day every day. They’re being made because of you anti gank crybabies spreading your lies and slander.
You will never win your fight. EVE is a pvp centric video game. PVP is a core mechanic that is in every part of this video game. Piracy is a core mechanic of this video game, and it is in every part of this video game. You guys can cry and post 4 billion threads saying otherwise, but you’re still wrong.
null is annoyingly safe.. but yes; mostly because players stick together.. and its where i most often roam so it really isnt that safe… easy enough to not get killed tho…
I just want to re-post this, because this is 100% correct. This is a very big issue EVE has. Outsiders or potential players have a very flawed perception of the game, which this update will help to correct quite a bit.
I doubt any of them, the ore in there will likely be extremely limited and of extremely low quality as to make it probably not worth it, especially when your haulers become instantly killable anyway in order to haul the minerals out
