Except those resources with their current values are far from worthless when compared with non-Exordium ore. And also far from worthless considered the circumstances under which they can be acquired. And they refine to standard tritanium and pyerite, not something special that is worthless and doesn’t have effect on the economy.
I wonder when that “the resources are worthless, move along…nothing to see” propaganda will end…they just are not worthless!
I know people that would mine them all day long. A perfect tradeoff between getting ganked and reduced income, by being able to fit the blingiest of bling and don’t have to waste any slot for a non-mining-boost module…
Yeah but they won’t really make enough to make it worthwhile, because if you have a bunch of miners over there there each group gets basically nothing and the respawns are tiny, long terms its worthless to really bother as there will never be a scenario where only 1 group is there, and even then the daily respawns aren’t likely to make the juice worth the squeeze, and if you do CCP will probably start doing nasty things to your ships as you’ll be impeding the NPE

What if i come in generous and gift some day 1 players a good fitted mining ship together with the skillbooks and the needed skillpoints?
They can have a very neat NPE then…fully within the rulebook…

Not exactly worthless, but half the minerals as the lowest tier of ore that get ignored for the most part in the current game.
I’m not sure I understand your reasoning. Half the value of non-grade ore. Do you get ganked so often that you would consider it a good trade off? If you do, perhaps it’s time to learn how to avoid being ganked? Thousands of players mine in highsec and have never been ganked. What the ■■■■ are you afraid of?

In PVP space you have to limit your ship fitting. But ok…again, just for you and maybe also for Christine:
In normal space - the one with PVP - you should not fit the most expensive modules, rigs and implants and on top you need to reserve some slots for a proper tank…or else…
This reduces your yield when compared with a possible blingiest of bling fitting and general character setup for pure yield in Exordium.
The yield might equal out between those two setups rendering your “worthless” ore quite worthwhile.
You both talk as if you had never even heard of Michi’s Excavation Augmentor, Aoede MLUs and such things…

You still want to make the lowest value ore that will be in the game somehow a gold mine. Your mental gymnastics are ridiculous.
CCP has posted that veteran players will not be allowed to go there to farm. What more do you want?

I wouldn’t call it crying, but discussing possible issues and pitfalls. But the fact that you seem to be emotionally so invested tells me all i need.
I’ll just wait and see how the rules have evolved and been posted for everyone to read.
And then i will head out to the new space and look what it is all about.
Until then i hope CCP has addressed all the possible pitfalls and taken care enough to prevent mining hordes of old players.
It would however be best if CCP would think about and publish measures so that no one loses their accounts by either preventing active exploitation of Exordium or by crossing that yet undefined line by accident and knowing only after the fact that you ruined your accounts.
3 days, my guy. 3 days you spent trying to make sure everyone knows you are going to the new player systems to report people that are over 30 days old. 3 days.

Youve said that several times as well. You always seem to try and attempt to validate this creepy behavior of wondering how it will work when its released. Its already been stated HOW it will work.
Ffs, CCP is going to monitor it. How many times must it be beat in your head that ramifications will be dealt if its abused. But, im sure that ccp wont mind one bit if you drive your black and white mayberry police car in there, polish that bullet in your pocket while you stare at players there, and report accordingly. Im betting they will erect a golden statue in your name.

It’s like uber newb space why would anyone even go there unless it’s to give advice to new bros or to try and recruit them into your corp. To me, going there is not worth the capacitor.

I dont get it either. Why would anyone burn so much of their sanity on something thats already been discussed about endlessly.
I know what im going to do now. Im doing to make some alts with a slight variation of my own name, and for 30 days, ill mine away and get this so called “valuable” ore and get stupid filthy rich. While doing this, im hoping to meet all the new folks, and vets that decide to make their own new alts as well.
And, ill do it while Barney sits there with me living in his head completely rent free.

Its only one person thats freaking out over all this. Theres a select few thats just jabbering needless banter. The remaining few of us all know what the real deal is, have tried to explain it with a bouncing ball…but have been unsuccessful. If you want to donate to the cause though…make your payments to Barney at the Manifest police dept.
