So…Im in a wormhole and I see a caracal in a combat site. I warped out cloaked to check it out and it seemed he was performing poorly…I was going to uncloak and aggress him but I remember reading somewhere that if I do that the RATS will aggress me. Is this correct??
Most likely, yes. All of the NPCs have various aggression characteristics which may make them decide you are the better target.
You can check eve-survival or similar to figure out when he is about to finish the site and attack then. Or while he is looting his MTU, or maybe salvaging. The target will most likely have a PVE fit so you’ll be able to warp off if you are in low-class and get in trouble.
