Would players want CCP make a Jita 4-4 Siege Event?

Would players want a EVE Online Jita Siege Event?

*** Warning >>> This is a long read. Lots of suggested event content, usable event backstory, story setting up for the next possible future event(s), and some lore is provided. Players had expressed in prior forums they don’t have time for reads longer than three sentences because they ‘have more important things to do with their spare time’ like spamming multiple hypernets every half minute and camping inside EVE market hub stations and repeatedly reminding players in local chat of their greatness. (actual EVE player replies) ***

The Legion update started plus the null alliances had just announced starting a major war. Lots of fanfare, hype, and great expectations to happen. Six weeks passed, today I listened to a well-liked streamer with a dev and graphs explain the EVE economy is healthy, scarce resources are in high demand, and players are returning. I became glum from that rosy stream because at the same time I was lowering my hills of those ‘scarcity’ resource prices lower again (now priced less than listed six months ago) and I’m looking at the EVE online player count is now at a dismal 16,870. The excitement of war now feels like going to a highly anticipated ball game and the fans are now leaving half way in that match. End of that video the dev welcomed players to submit ‘needed future content ideas for the EVE teams.’ Later in this forum you’ll find out who had been creating EVE event/content ideas.

I am proposing an EVE event all players can participate in a Jita 4-4 station siege. I’ve read and heard in streams for many years players wishing for a ‘Burn Jita’ to happen. And I read recent forum replies players are still wanting that Jita market station to burn. So, let’s get some feedback and vote on it. Maybe CCP devs are listening and will construct an event for that to happen, because the devs proudly had said often during EVE Fanfest XXII they listen to their players and the audience clapped. We’ll see who will be clapping after watching their assets got pillaged. It will be entertaining listening to returning players discovering their items once were inside that station …. Is now where?

I’m the player who had submitted a forum suggestion for a EVE event to rebuild a shorter Amarr-Jita route. My idea was well received by multiple players during actual game time play it was needed and wanted. But, the replies in my forum proposal, it wasn’t. Very contrast. Some of the forum replies ripped up on players bashing they don’t know how to play the game, pros suggesting every character owned a cheap ten billion ISK jump freighter and it could haul just as a regular freighter can, some wanting a total PVP game, or suggestions they preferred their own private EVE empires without other players. Again, I thank you players who read and responded, but no replies came from any CCP member. But maybe my ideas were heard by a CCP dev(s) because in their 2025 Directors Cut chat there were hints of making shorter routes. Plus, I seen some of my suggestions were similar in the recent Drifter events. Almost word-to-word too. I smiled reading the many Drifter Event players were liking some of those similar content suggestions I’ve also I had made in my prior submissions. So, some of my suggested content ideas do work and players were liking them.

I personally believe we don’t need a Burn Jita event. I market mega amounts of ores from the Jita 4-4 station couriered from different regions far away. Yet, I would delight seeing the ivory tower players in shear panic and market chaos watching that station burn with their goods stuck inside it. The players will be again venting in social media CCP is ruining their game and will rage quit like they’ve been threatening to do two decades now. The game would totally fall apart without their thousands of 0.01 ISK price modifications and no more sharing Lego built ship pictures. Again, players had been requesting a Jita event for many years. Let them have it and full carnage. It would be totally worth it to me I lost tens of billions of ISK inside that station watching and hearing those pains you have been wanting. I would just relocate into the newest main EVE market hub station after the Jita 4-4 station burned down and restart selling there too.

*** Warning >>> Some players may not be mentally stable enough for this event (if implemented) to accept all their assets inside that station will burn. ***

How would I present the event? >>

First, I sincerely meant wanting ALL players can participate in this and any event. Rookie to experienced players can get involved. Those EVE player counts are looking mighty sad dipping below 18,000 ‘players’ (per Fanfest XXII half are actually multi-boxed alts) during slow hours these past months. I want beginner and longtime players come online feeling they were in grand and evolving events and they made a difference in each one.

Week One >>

● Unannounced - Players who like to scan will be discovering pirate beckons showing up in random systems and discovering small Deathless Circle faction fleets are near them.

Week Two >>

● Announced – The four major empires now request and rewarding capsuleers to investigate these staging sites. Fear of invasions soon to come spreads.

● The Deathless Circle sites relocated, more frequent, and their fleets are larger. Small hackable deployed outposts are also in their staging sites. Some of their ships are hackable after they had been destroyed. Most sites are in the Caldari and Gallente empires.

● More Drifters and Rogue Drones are spotted wandering in the systems.

Week Three >>

● The staging sites are now gone. Their fleets had embolized.

● The Deathless Circle siege begins on the Jita system, the adjacent Jita systems, and in the Uedama system. The Cardari navy mobilizes to protect and counter. The other empires do not mobilize their navies to help the Caldari empire.

● The Deathless Circle make both small and large one-sided gate blockades in those mentioned systems. Why also the Uedama system? Because we all know that single system is the high-sec camped choke point for all other empires able to get through to the Jita system and nothing had been done to change that since Niarja had fell to the Triglavian empire. This is one reason why CCP is now finally contemplating making shorter space routes. Ever since that route had become longer the game had begun to have less and less players each year. But don’t accept that is the sole reason why. When the gate gankers and FW interrupt the current route we all had watched the player counts decline farther. During the three-month long event/holiday seasons, almost all couriers stop using that route. It’s a fact. Even CCP often said so and is now trying to pave a way for shorter routes. So, if you want to get to the Caldari empire in this event for the action or rescue your items, then you’ll love this Uedama woodchipper blockade just trying to get the other side. Don’t worry, the low-sec route wasn’t forgotten and will have some surprises there waiting for you there too.

Give out a week of free Omega to players during the Uedema blockade will create angry multiboxing gate campers who turned their Alphas into Omegas there, because the blockading NPCs would be attacking them too. Right now, I passed by 175+ gankers waiting at one of those gates, more ships than the ‘large’ null-sec war fight being streamed now you players are excited watching. It’s true. Bring your jump freighters and show us how it’s done as one player using 34 suicide Omega accounts with the same names blow your plates off with their fitted blasters.

● Deathless fleet attacks begin on the Jita 4-4 station. Player rewards are given to the Deathless choosing side attacking that station. Higher rewards are awarded to the supporters killing hauler and freighter ships 15,000 m near the Jita 4-4 station. Rewards are also given to players killing any Deathless ships and their player supporters. If you shoot or kill your own supporters then you go into suspect mode and lose appropriate standings. The Caldari Navy is also helping defend the station but not the gates. Anyone who shoots on the station will also become a target by CONCORD, Caldari Navy, and lose faction as normal.

● A shield, armor, and structure status wheel now appear on that massive Caldari Navy Jita 4-4 station. Very slow count down. Seeing that time counter will make those ivory tower merchants feel the seriousness that station is to be destroyed.

● The Jita 4-4 sell/buy broker fee is now 10% to help future station repairs. No change to the sells tax. Jita and all Jita adjacent systems will now have a 10% contract broker fee on all new contracts/courier contracts (even if making an ‘originating location’ contract from a different location).

● Mining rewards begin in the four main empires. Need to build more navy ships to fight the blockades and make possible future gates.

● End of the week the station shields are gone. ¾ armor. Sorry, got to prolong this event to week four pushing the merchants more to retort.

Week Four >>

● The Deathless fleets will now coordinate blockades on both sides of the gates.

● The Deathless Circle fleets attacking the Jita 4-4 station are more frequent and larger. Neuts, webs, and warp disruptors are hard at work. Maybe introduce a occasional random pirate capital ship with a support fleet attacking the station too just to spice it up?

● Need to push those Jita 4-4 won’t fall nay sayers to react. The Jita 4-4 hanger now goes into a low power appearance as structures do when near destruction. Hanger billboards are turned off. CONCORD issues a mail to all players their assets inside the Jita 4-4 station are now at risk. A notification is made due to the dire situation and vast amounts of items stored inside the Jita 4-4 station a CONCORD Asset Safety transfer from that station will now cost a staggering 22.5% of the estimated item(s) value. Trust me, the streamers reading that will promote Ragnarök had hit the station. *** What worries me is the mental stability of some players after reading that CONCORD mail all their items inside that station are now at risk. ***

● Introduce a 15% reward increase to the Circle supporter’s killing hauler and freighter ships 15,000 m near the Jita 4-4 station. Rewards to inflicting station damage is unchanged.

● The sell/buy order broker fee remains at the week three 10%. A Jita system wide emergency sells tax is declared, increased to 20%. The Jita 4-4 station (not the systems) will now have a 50% contract broker fee on all new contracts/courier contracts originating there (even includes if making an ‘originating location’ Jita 4-4 contract from a different location). Players with goods in that station will begin panicking and trying sell off their goods fast.

● The station is now dipping into structure damage. Station exterior fire animations are visible.

● 25-75% of Jita local chat will not appear due to jamming posts are being deployed by the Deathless. An intentional regional chat blackout and hacked CONCORD billboards were done in a prior Triglavian event .

● *** A blackout python connection to the Jita market this week would be too much for EVE players to handle because some of you spend more time on social media, third party apps, and spreadsheets than actually playing the game. Players could possibly experience an abrupt mental disconnection. ***

● Drifter fleets appear and get involved mainly focused attacking the Deathless pirates at Jita 4-4. And what is the purpose of these Rogue Drone fleets (some are sentient) now showing up in the Jita system?

● Triglavian fleets also appear. Hostile to everyone.

● The Caldari Empire now requests help from the other empires. Offering large rewards to capsuleers (kill enemies and NPCs for PLEX rewards?). But the Uedama gates had now went into emergency lock down. Was/were there another gate made allowing other empire navies to help rescue Jita? To late now for you players who didn’t want a shorter route because the route through Uedama is now closed, so kiss your Jita assets goodbye. The calvary isn’t coming.

No Week Five Event >>

● Everyone went home. The Deathless siege was a success. The Jita station stands at 15% structure, smoldering. Jita spamming and 0.01 ISK modifications resumed as normal five seconds after downtime ended. Sign up now and claim your one million free skill points. The hustled PLEX, NES bought Skill Extractors, and farmed Skill Injectors resumes at their normal 55% (true, that data was provided from the EVE FanFest XX) total of all EVE market sells/buys income again. The hanger ‘Bob’ drones started outside repairs. Praise Bob.

● If you had lost items or wealth trying to evacuate them from the station, then it was done from your own decisions. No one else but you clicked those enter buttons to modify your prices or undocked to escape with a load of loots and got destroyed during those 4 seconds of animated undocking blackness. Thank you all who had contributed to the event 22.5% item value CONCORD Asset Safety charge. You’ll need to return your rescued items back inside that station.

Spoiler Alerts >>

● Who said this event was to burn the Jita 4-4 station down? It was a siege to retrieve what was inside that station. And the Drifters, Triglavian Empire, and Sentient Drones wanted it too. More valuable than all the other wealth inside that station.

● What was inside that station was an ancient Jovian corpse. A capsuleer had found it in a remote system during their explorations and brought it back to Jita 4-4. This body was later discovered as one of the original Jovian master engineers for all the gates, structures, and researching in the Zarzakh system. The Circle wanted to restore/clone this body and then they could easily unlock all the Zarzakh secrets. Then rule the universe and deprive you of free ship skin give aways.

● But there is a problem here. Remembering your EVE lore, you may had noted by now the period when Zarzakh was hidden long ago was also during the same time when the Jovian Disease nearly decimated the Jovian race. This master engineer was succumbed by that disease. And now all three Jovian, Triglavian, and Drifter races who share the same past linage had returned together again in EVE. The sentient drones knew that mummified body is a vector with that plague plus knows many of the implants used in EVE were originally designed by those three races and that master engineer corpse has originals (implanted keys). This Jita siege had nicely staged content for a larger event. The EVE stage now changes when those three races unite for a universe conquest just when the Jovian Disease plague returned and with capsuleers scrambling in search of who has the keys to stop them from opening the door to a greater dangerous ancient EVE race. You knew the Zarzakh structures are sentient and compatible with the sentient Rouge Drones, right? Well, who did you think summoned those drones and tipped off the Drifter and Triglavians to also come to the Jita party?

I hope you liked my idea for a Jita event proposal. I would like to read your replies is Jita worthy of an event by CCP? Personally, I have doubts CCP would after the streamed 2025 and Beyond Director’s Cut chat. Maybe my first proposal filled with content had hit their attention. Near the end of their stream the director asked the devs sitting there, “Where do the content ideas come from?” One dev answered for all there, “We get ideas from ourselves. We look at data and history (lore) and then decide.” And then you four nodded in agreement to that answer the players don’t provide. That control mentality decreases the player count over time. I am assuming what you actually had meant to glowingly say was, ‘We get ideas and contributions from our faithful EVE Online players. We are proud working together with them. And we salute to all you players on those front lines making EVE Online the #1 space MMO game.’ <cheering, confetti dropping, pyrotechnics firing, and shirtless mosh pit diving>

CCP, please list that never seen white rocket dress in NES, I’ve offered via local chat 100,000,000,000 ISK (not a typo, billion) for anyone to sell one to me. I doubt it was ever was made. And that metal rocket dress too. No one had seen that one either.

It is true a single player can influence much in this game. Maybe a CCP dev will also read this proposal and these great replies from devoted EVE players. They do matter. I believe that. A Jita event with merchants in pandemonium sounds fun. Sell to me that white rocket dress first.

I like slaver hounds, a native animal of Syrikos V. Their sight is sharp as their teeth. You knew slaver hounds can’t dream, right? Their superior sight and unable to dream is an evolved adaptation together provide their brain and extraordinary fast nervous system a natural protection from spatial anomalies or manipulation. Some scientists had hypothesized an ancient space race may had designed that protective feature into those hounds for that. The new hybrid breeds lost that ability. Anyways, only a few people know slaver hounds are able to pass that protective ability onto their owner after they become extremely loyal and devoted.

My augmented guide slaver hound is patiently waiting ready with short leash and keys. I now must depart to meet some masters on hypereuclidean manifolds. You knew that technology could make system gates obsolete, right? The manipulated rendering these masters reside in gravely divides our comprehension to perceive inside their distorted corporal environment if you’re not protected. Not many living things have the same neural synapsis fluid composition as those sentient Rogue Drones have able to negate those spatial harmonics. Those few rare creatures had evolved in different solar systems but planetary biologists noted each had gained that biological ability at the same time like by design. Looks at the guide slaver hound. The Sisters would be proud what I had fitted onto their white exploration ships. The ring around that ship when powered to initiate warp drive makes those metaprismatic sheets filled with veins of Lorentz fluid sing like a choir to the heavens to open. In the scriptures, all unworthy would be destroyed journeying to that realm. I’m blessed able to see that holy place through my guide. The masters there are ready to release the colossal Amarr Emperor ‘Beast of Heaven’. Baptized in the energies of a singularity. No star system can generate enough energy able to compete against such a tech II Titan. Hand gesture the hound to begin lead. I bring the agreed payment for their work. Long ago, the engineer had used the same Euclidean technology that allowed the Fulcrum to conceal the Zarzakh system. My trade will pave their way to the Falcrum furthering their researchings. Why yes, I am well established with the wealthy Tash-Murkon family. You’re correct remembering the Holy Empress Catiz was formally the CEO of that family. I maintain an excellent standing with both. She has a deep well filled with cold revenge. The Jovian, Triglavian, and Drifters had been dealt with. The return of the Jovian Disease will quickly spread because those three share the same linage and two had no prior history been exposed against that heinous plague makes them even more vulnerable. The lesser rouge drones are the ever-replicators of themselves like a virus and are found throughout the universe. Their wreckages make excellent infective agent vectors delivering vengeance to the home worlds of those three races. I can now proceed on with the Minmatar. Everything else inside this station can now burn.

Kudos if you know which race has that spatial technology.

Hey EVE Online content teams, I had just set you up nicely with ideas for a chain of events unfolding with a history and evolution. It also subtly mentioned a possible solution how to introduce a quicker route making for players. And listing that apparel white rocket dress in NES would be sweet.

June 26 06:00, 16,877 players are currently online. It didn’t pass 28,100 peak count of players online today. This event content proposal was created by a player who struggles seeing. Hoping maybe the EVE Online content teams will use some of my ideas to increase the EVE Online player counts. Yeah, a blind player had drafted this. Me.
