How to calculate extraction value:

Currently, that is approximately :

The average price of a Large Skill Injector has been 630 to 633 the last few days.
And the average price of a Skill Extractor in Jita has been 330 to 333 the last few days.
To make this simple let’s just say 633 for the Large Skill Injector and 333 for the Skill Extractor.
This only reflects the price without taxes and relists (1%). So let’s be optimistic and say you have perfect trade skills, that 1.5% Broker’s fees and 3.6% Sales Tax, so together that’s 5.1%
If I buy a Skill Extractor in Jita I pay 333 mil ISK on average with no taxes.
Then if I then sell the Large Skill Injector I get 633 - 5.1% for taxes and 1% for relists, I end up getting 594.387 mil ISK.
Thats 594m Give ot take - 333m = 261m ISK, per 500,000 SP
Lex Novae (208,678,653 - 5 000 000 = 203.5m Exstractible SP, or 407 Large Skill Injector with an average value of 261m each. SO 261 x 407 = 106.227B- 1.45B to plex the account equals 104.777B Value give or take.
Thies are optimistic numbers for an extractor, and most extractors will want to make a few hundred mills to do a character or a few B for one with as much SP as yours, for taking the time to buy, extract, and then sell off all the SP as I once did.
The “average” price, I would think is never the first couple of listings at the top of the list for any item. You said “The average price of a Large Skill Injector has been 630 to 633 the last few days.” I just checked the price for Large Skill Injector and the cheapest one at the moment is 638m with a quantity of 20, how is that an average price for that item? Me using “weighted average value” for both LSI and SE announce a point of reference; LSI @ 666.79 M (profit) and SE @ 339.42 M (expense).
On the issue of taxes, so many variables; the location you buy or sell at, your trade skills, whether you use the New Eden Store to buy your 10 SE(s) for 1120 PLEX , or use money to buy your SE, and I’m sure there are a couple of other processes of resale I’m probably leaving out. I’ve not tried farming or sales of Skill Points so I’m not confident in all the processes involved. Guess I should have just said “taxes not included” and left it for those who would buy, to decide if the price was fair. If a buyer comes in under asking, then then it’s a seller’s job to decide to sell or hold on for a higher bid.
