Hey there, I’m a new pilot as of this month, from my account activity on the eve website I see my first day was 16 Dec - 9:33 pm UTC (1 week ago) with more time on the 18th and 19th and I definitely put at least 3 hours in on my first day.
My question:
Is there any way I can check my eligibility for the “Yoiul Festival Celebration Crate” with the 20plex? I’ve opened my New Eden Store and haven’t found it. I’d love to know if it’s just because I’m doing something wrong, or if I’m ineligible, who knows maybe I am. So far I have restarted the client and tried logging back in as well, I don’t see any way to know if this is something I’m missing or I’m not suppose to have.
Anyway figured I’d ask since 20 plex is a lot for me right now. Note: I do have a Firework somewhere in a station, but no plex.
PLEX goes into your PLEX vault and not into your hangar. Check your wallet. ← I am saying this because you mentioned you have fireworks in your hangar, so maybe you opened the crate? If not, the NES store should show it to you. It’s in top row one of the first items when you open the store.
CCP should update the page then. There is currently no mention of either Alpha or Omega, just the requirement of 3 hours playtime between the dates listed.
Also, they are stating on that page that the PLEX can be used to ‘upgrade to Omega’. Which would allow one to think that Alpha clone state accounts will also get it. Because the accounts that are already Omega, would ‘extend’ their game time with PLEX, not ‘upgrade’ it. But yeah, Alphas probably won’t be on the list for the crate.
Bummer, well I’m an Alpha - glad to hear other Alpha’s have obtained this crate, I have no idea why it doesn’t show in my New Eden Store, I don’t see anything I can redeem in that store nor notifications (though I got the fireworks)
Kind of a bummer, but hey I’m glad some people got some free stuff. Hopefully they iron out the kinks for if this is just inconsistent, or they have some better way to show if you qualify or not. I sent out a customer support ticket to see if maybe I can get some help seeing if its just a qualification issue or if something else is going on.
Thank you for your help everyone, I appreciate it, Merry Christmas and a happy New Year, I’ll post back here if I hear anything back from customer support on my ticket. - Pilot 194
Just a hint for you to pay attention to your wording…maybe also your support tickets are worded wrong in this regard: you don’t “redeem from the NES”…you “buy” something from the NES, also if it has zero cost. After you have successfully bought the item, it goes to your redeeming queue.
Only then follows the “redeeming” - by entering the redeeming queue globally through the character login screen and dragging items to characters for redeeming or by accessing the redeeming queue individually via a logged in character and redeeming to this character only.
Support responded back to me, they reviewed it and decided to give me a festival crate. So that’s pretty neat, feels good that they responded, cool that they and were able/willing to help, I wasn’t expecting that, with holiday season and probable backlog on their end this seemed like the support ticket that would go unresolved. Go GM Ophis.
For future onlookers of this thread, I’m not sure of whether my account just barely missed the requirements somehow (Maybe I was mistaken somewhere on my end) or if it was an issue not related to my qualification for this event crate and rather on the distribution side of things. I assume a support ticket may help if a similar position ends up being held by someone else as well.
From some of the wording in their emailed response “After reviewing this, I have decided to add the Yoiul Festival Celebration Crate to your account.” I assume that the issue must have been on my end, maybe I downloaded the client the first day or two rather than launched the game, idk. All I recall is playing more than I should of (All night) that first day I played.
Either way, it all worked out. Thanks support team. Appreciate all the help here everyone.
