Absolutely, when I read the title I was indignant because with a little bit of effort you can indeed polish a turd. And some people have explained above how to do it, I was thinking that drying it out, applying resin and voila, a turd that can be polished.
Itâs easy to polish a turd: start with copralite (fossilized poo) and then just use a regular ole gem grinder.
Problem solved.
You know eve is in trouble when people start talking about turd polishing instead of spaceships.

You can participate in EVE forums only if your killboard has a lot of activity, more kills than loses and no loses from suicide ganking. Otherwise your opinion is invalid.

Its funny and sad, people actually expected other human beings playing the same video game to just sit there and let themselves be farmed for other people ego boosting killmails. And when they didnât by various methods (not just quiting, some went to wormholes, lowsec and high sec where gameplay made more sense, blackout + cynos/gates/wormholes was freaking horribly broken) they are somehow âcowardsâ.
That sentiment is so stupid in frightening. Itâs a crazy double standard as well, just like when people yell âblobbers!!â when you shoot at them with more than one person, but the same idiot will kill a mining ship with 30 of his friends and not blink in the slightest.
I stayed in sov null during the blackout because Iâm stubborn and I like to kill people who think we are easy meat. Funnily enough to âpvprsâ (lol) who came at us ran the moment you fought back. Still, I had a lot of friends not log in or go play in high sec, they werenât being cowards, they were playing a video game in a way they found fun. Now they are back with me in null so all is good.

With that out of the way, IMO if CCP had introduced the intel structures they talked about as far back as 2015 as part of blackout, it might have gone better.
