It’s not rocket science. It’s either combat probes or gate ambush, the latter presenting real problem for a solo pilot that does not use alts to scout. Which can still be dealt with by turning mission in a sub 2 second align frigate that fits inside escape bay, Dramiel does it with travel fit, and also has enough tank to make it past most smart bomb set ups.
Oh I know. I mean for real, respect that you choose to do it anyways and employ countermeasures.

I don’t risk it with the station, and will dock back up if reds are at the undock. This is a clue to jump into the yacht use insta undock and switch mission hub.

I recently discovered the amazing ship that is the Harbinger Navy Issue. Really great damage output, good projection, decent shield tank (at least on par with most shield BCs), and self links.

For small scale stuff, I like active armor, dual fed webs, self linked, heavy pulse Navy Harbaby.
It’s a fantastic ship!
But yeah, it’s pretty flexible. The 5 mid slots and ability to track a mosquito is really nice on it.

All of the navy battlecruisers seem to under-perform for the price. They are good for buffer fits due to their innate boosted hit points, but most of them lose the ability to self-tank for solo stuff (e.g. the Brutix), and the extra slot hardly justifies an up to 400% increase in cost in most situations.

It’ll be interesting if they do make them cheaper again. I seent they are adjusting faction BPs on the indy side.
There is no such thing as using Vortons and being safe, you can easily get suspect baited even if your safety is set to green. Having said that you can EHP fit them just fine especially with a set of Nirvanas but it’s just too risky due to Vorton arcing.
Oh I know, but the system he runs in, gankers never go to.

Harbinger NI would take an armor tank much better. Those 5 mids gives it plenty of flexibilty, but more so if not wasted setting up tank on the ships weakest tank value, shields.

Yeah. for those of us who like to spend our real money in the real world, the little extra for much more money isn’t such a good thing.
But there are some Navy frigates that give very cool benefits for some extra isk.

The Skybreakers are weird on Zkill. It looks like they are being used to get in on Concord kills to gankers. Also, they seem to die to OTHER Skybreakers most often . It’s weird.
I guess my favorite ship class would be the marauders, just so useful for all sorts of stuff. But the best, sexiest, funnest single ship in the game? Got to be the Garmur. And have you seen the new Triumphant AT skin for it? Ridiculously amazing
