Tried that and no matter which character I try to select (tried all three) I get this message.

Videos are only available for eligible omega characters."

Dear Crowd Control Productions. I was extremely happy seeing some stuff right off the bat in my own video. I wanted to share it and I wanted other people to share their own.
There are issues here though, which I don’t understand what are they caused by. Because I assume there is a reason behind them. Maybe I assume too much.
- some people, me included, don’t want to wait for some mail for stuff like this. This is my year in Eve, this isn’t some statistics video, this is how I spent a year of my life playing Eve Online. But I still have to yet get my own mail. It makes me want to have an easy access not to wait for my Year in Eve video. Because actually, these yearly videos, I firmly believe, are the best pro-community idea you’ve ever made. They are enjoyable, they make feel good, they cause laughs, they gratify which happens to be the best way to encourage a behaviour in human psychology as far as I know. So excuse me, I will not HTFU on waiting for some mail.
- So we get to getting our own video by our own means. Assuming we even know there was a news, we have to find this thread’s link in it, only to be able to discover the Fuzzwork’s link. So we have to do 3 steps here, to get to the video at all. Assuming we even know there was a news.
- Let’s remind ourselves here there is a time limit to get this video… at all. Or it will be lost. This kind of sounds like a pressuring to me, I don’t know about you. I understand server limits and such but in this particular situation here, with all the faults I can see, this makes the situation even more annoying to me for some reason.
- I will be glad to be proven wrong. I really will. However without a dedicated app (and I shouldn’t need one for this), I couldn’t get my android phone to make it share the video, at all. AT ALL, K.
Google gallery app thing couldn’t even see the file. VLC I happen to use of course could see it but it can’t share it. Same as google chrome on android, or at least mine, couldn’t share the vid from the downloaded files list. While facebook should delete itself from existence and our past memory, twitter exists I guess and is even used for Eve, personally I want to paste this vid on a discord channel, same one someone reminded me about the vid on, especially using my phone, especially when after watching the video on my phone because I wanted to have it asap, and feeling so happy about it, I wanted more people to share theirs too.

I like both aiming at a meaningful praise and being able to compile your own video like last year’s.
Except directed praise here was an illusion, because every vid is the same. I just happened to trade so much. For me every video shouldn’t look the same (except numbers), although it is very well made by itself. Like I’m impressed. So just bring back the option what to include in a vid please. And I would say how to order it in a vid.

Sorry to tell you but the main content in every video is exactly the same.
Sure the statstics in yours are different to everyone elses but overall it’s all just a little to “Fake” to bother showing off to friends or potential players.
After browsing 20+ videos of different players it was a bit like looking at a photo album full of baby photos, with a different baby in each one - Sure babies are cute BUT after the first 20 or 30 they all look the same.
Out of the 1.55 run time less than half of it is about YOU, or anything YOU did. Most of the video is about someone from the graphics department showing off their idea of what Eve looks like to players and CCP praising themselves on recent changes that are still broken and will likely further reduced the player base.
I wonder why they didn’t show things like the new clumsy “back to the 80’s” style skilling interface, or a clip of the empty ice and gas sites.
Showing the truth isn’t good advertising.

Then you didn’t actually watch it because each of the various different category’s has a different scene. My video didn’t include any PvP statistics whereas his video did, thus his video had different scenes compared to mine.
Other than that, I didn’t bother to actually read the rest of your post since it quickly started sounding like a rant.

Videos are different for different players. I got no missioning, mining or wormhole stats. Granted, I didn’t run a single mission, but my alt did mine relatively often.

Is there any possibility to see a detailed statistics that was not included in my personal video, like PvP damage dealt (I’ve seen that on other player’s videos)? Can we access our own data in any form?
