How else are they going to meet the income targets set by PA, the company who owns CCP, everyone points fingers at CCP when in reality, they don’t really have a choice, direct your dislike at the company actually running the show

Well, this might be one more problem… This largest alliance is full of alts and people who don’t know much about this game. It is just here to have a lot of slaves gathering extreme riches for their leadership. …and here we are back to the original idea from ccp to diminish wealth distribution

…and get more alphas… I couldn’t find a reason to stay at omega, so 5 more hours as omega then I’ll see how life goes as an alpha player. I just finished moving quite a bunch of assets from a citadel to a npc station in the hope ccp does not decide to take my stuff from there. I prolly might sub again if they decide on new features I do actually like
Whales generate far more income than any omegas do, astronomical amounts more, thats why so many games include things like microtransactions, they know that certain demographics will spend a fortune if allowed to

Funny how some people keep saying that whales generate more income than Omega’s do, with the innuendo that whales are Alpha accounts.
Sorry to burst the bubble but that’s a fallacy designed to give more importance to Alpha accounts than what’s actually true. The only reason those accounts are Alpha is so they can play for free, they’re definitely not going to invest any money into the game because if they were, then they’d already be an Omega.
Actual whales would have no issue with tossing money for a sub to be Omega. Also they’d have no problems with buying PLEX, ship skins and game packs. So that basically means whales are Omega accounts…

I can only share my own experience,
I have played EVE for about 28 months,have done everything except PvP,.I have not killed anyone in game,which I’m a bit proud about.I would still be playing WT if that was my goal.Because of the pandemic I had a lot of spare time on my hands so things where going well,spent some time in Null,WH’s are still a lot of fun to dive into.I’m not complaining about the recent changes,because I have no control over them,but I did see my net wealth take a big jump which was nice.I always felt that being a new player gave me a advantage in the fluidity of the changes that CCP has created,and it has,.well most of them,.
RL things have changed now,back to work and I have very little spare time to grind out a game where things just seem to get harder and harder,so now I just log in once a day,help out in Rookie chat if I want to undock a ship,and try to help the new players that seem to be getting discouraged very quickly these days.
I’m just going to take a break for awhile.I have only one account so I really don’t have much to worry about when it comes to upkeep.I have plenty of assets,.

Part of what makes a whale more valuable and generate more income is that they already pay for omega because they want to make use of all the things they are buying
