CCP will listen to the CSM, but I very much doubt that there is much, if anything, discussed down here which would initiate an ‘Eureka!’ moment in the Company’s deliberations.
The player suggestions which do get taken on board (and mentioned in the updates) seem to be useful but hardly strategically significant additions. Are any of your own suggestions among them, Lucas?
Perhaps so, but that is not the fault of the gankers, who would be quite happy to discuss other elements pertaining to the World of Scallywaggery.

Hm. When I started playing, this sub-forum was a place to exchange information, ideas, strategies, funny stories… It was hot.
There’s no doubt that it’s now a pale shadow of what it was; but times change, and people with them. It was a tight-knit club; now they let all sorts of riff-raff in.
After fifteen years of non-stop sandbox nerfs, this game has been reduced to nothing but mindless PvE grinding and ganking, so you can hardly blame people about discussing basically the sole remaining viable form of PvP. Wars: dead. Mercenary industry: dead (the “merc contracts” channel used to have 300 people in it before citadels went live, now it’s got 0). Baiting: hanging by a tendon as more and more PvE content becomes instanced. Low-sec: reduced to 3 systems that are gate-camped 24/7, and otherwise completely devoid of life.
Says the person who single handedly manages to turn every thread into a thread about ganking, even if it wasn’t in the first place, and post 739 posts riling against the subject long after everyone else is bored.
If people just want to rail against ganking there’s always the Nerf Ganking Megathread. Here, we should be talking more about how inspired it is to offer bonuses for folks who get their kills with other industrial ships. That is the kind of thing that promotes the outside the box thinking that makes Eve awesome.
There’s something else I’ve noticed. Thanks go to @Aiko_Danuja, whose recent blogpost enabled me to tie up some hitherto inexplicable loose ends about this character.

I stopped debating more than 20 years ago. I laugh more these days. It’s so funny to see people who thought they were so high & mighty end up getting shafted. It’s much more amusing than trying to reason with them.
