18.04 Release - General Feedback

Do you understand the english language? lmao

The burden of proof is on your smooth brain to link even a single killmail, you can’t so all you can do is cry fake news like a defeated child throwing his dummy on the ground

I understand they are trying to get more stuff destroyed but this and all the mining nerfs are a terrible way to go about it.

The constant nerfing of mining reduces content for indy players and that isn’t good, this will just reduce content for many others as well. Players will simply avoid the risk by not undocking, which means that the ones that undock anyway will have less potential fights. I think this is actually going to see a reduction in destruction not an increase.

If they want stuff destroyed they should get rid of asset safety and local, then un-nerf resource production like pre-nerf Rorqual because that will suddenly become necessary.

:red_circle: Thank you CCP for giving me a Slasher BPO … Oh wait, no it’s just a BPC. When will CCP ever get their image server in order?

@CCP_Dopamine a small feature request. As an industrialist, I have plenty of Excel sheets to count what I need to buy. And there is a nice feature that I can just copy list from there and paste it in market bar. But there is an issue of “zeros” in the list.

For example I counted minerals and my Excel gives me result - buy:
Compressed Gneiss 1153
Compressed Dark Ochre 0
Compressed Crokite 249

But when I paste it in market, game can’t swallow the “0” and final order looks like:
Compressed Gneiss 1153
Compressed Dark Ochre 1
Compressed Crokite 249

That might be small, but it is annoying)

Surgical Strike Patch

There is Nothing Surgical about the Resistance Modules Nerf !

CCP could have used a Scalpel and changed only the ships that CCP believes to have too much Bonus, HP or Resist.
But CCP used a Hammer and is now just watching the discontent of those who were collateral damage of said objective.

I would prefer a small Sub-Capital fight to last longer and not to end quick.

I still think CCP should Rollback the Resist Modules Nerf and continue with a ship-to-ship balance !

Just don’t add the items that are required 0.

That guy got purged before they killed his pod as well.

People keep saying there’s nothing surgical about Surgical Strike.

Quadruple amputation is a surgery, you know.

Those spreadsheets of mine are huge and I just can§t delete rows whenever I need.

make a script that concatenates the value only if you have a value only of >0.
eg with three cells
type value concat
tritanium bla if(bla>0, tritanium&bla, “”)

for me this means:

  1. Void is finally worth buying and I can save a lot of isk by not buying as much faction antimatter
  2. Hi Sec Gankers get a big buff to their (boring) gameplay
  3. A bunch of stuff about ships I don’t fly and more reasons to procrastinate about undocking my carrier
  4. Hold all inventory, stop selling stuff until prices skyrocket
  5. Go back and mess around with a bunch of fits
  6. They want more death but are still trying to nerf Pando. No luck so far there.

Thanks for your generalized view on our profession, which you have no real idea of. Expecting others to deal with consequences which were obviously not considered and not explicitly intended is very nice of you. Ask yourself why do you argue against this issue. Nerfing DSTs was never a topic.

From CSM minutes: rat bounties will be nerfed in one way or another. Welcome to Rip-off Online!

That was CCP’s method of increasing ISK/Risk ratio.

CSM members even said this was not the best method to do this and suggested increasing the NPC treat to players would have been better than reducing bounties and loot.

And to whom do I pay that tax? Especially if I store stuff in my own station…

And you do realize that if you have 50% resists and get hit by 1000 then only 500 is applied?
And that if you add module with 50% resists you end up with 75% resists… and when you get hit by 1000 only 250 is applied?

Hence there is no “diminishing returns” by having more resists. The only diminishing results you get come from stacking penalty.

No, I see your lack of understanding on how percents actually work.

They won’t be ever satisfied till it is literally impossible to get ganked.

It didn’t reduce any content. You can just mine asteroid belts… and if you want to mine moons you still can. Not to mention mining /= industry,

you’re not talking about module resistance effect, but resistance in general.

everyone is talking about the reduction of the effect of the 20% update on the modules, not how resistance works, anyone that plays EVE knows how resistances works.
