2 Years of Faction Grind (Standing 7.0+) about to be wasted by a COSMOS bug and CCP Support’s "Deprecated Content" excuse. Need help!

Are you suggesting build a fleet and declare war in order to complete a high-sec mission?

I’m suggesting that if you have a problem with what this person is doing, it’s extremely addressable via in-game means, and it’s disingenuous crybaby nonsense to claim otherwise.

If that’s what the mission requires, yes.

Good point, from the side of the wardeck gankers and suicide multiboxers, but I don’t think it’s right, this game is not for you only. Nevertheless, I invite both of you to not be just words and try to solve this problem yourself, it would be interesting to see. 11 ST, i suppose you will have to wake up early. At the same time, far from fact, there will be able to see the required, you will not find anything there, just like the TS did not find anything, no matter what fleet you form and what wars you declare. I’ll tell you a big secret - the person in question has enough numbers of alts in the NPC corporation and a sufficient set of techniques to pick up or destroy the mission items there. You guys have a lot to learn, its not easy as killing newbies.

Yeeeaahhh we call unreasonable suggestions that are technically correct an “insurance firm” attitude around here. Accusations of “crying” and being a baby have been staples of the forum tough guy. Same thing here: the forum rules protect YOU from receiving the adult response you actually deserve. We have many sayings in my country about people like you, of which most are a bannable offense. Have a nice day smelling diapers I guess.

Who is the ‘tough guy’ here?

One who threatens they would use ‘adult language’ if this did not get them banned from the forum if they tried?

What kind of ‘adult response’ are we talking about here anyway? Insults? Threats of bodily harm?

I’m glad the forums have rules against such harassment.

My old self before biomass would agree with the op, and blame CCP.

Now I believe CCP has a grand scheme of shitting on players until they realize ■■■■ happens, every time you expect stuff to work as intended you already failed.

That’s why EVE gonna be the best MMO in a few years while the current MMOs will collapse into idiocracy and mediocrity, and that’s why I’m back baby!

No, seriously, it sucks, but it kind is EVE way, in a long term they doing you a favor making you smarter. In the short term dealing with the anxiety and frustration is the real deal. WINNING in this situation is not caring, it’s hard, but it’s the right way.

The rules do not facilitate answering that question, and you’re perfectly aware of that. The sole reason you ask is to find a bannable offense. You being “glad there are rules against harassment” is exactly my point. The definition…

unwanted, offensive, or intimidating behavior that persists over time or is severe enough to cause alarm, distress, or fear

…applies perfectly to people who screw over other people’s long-term PVE investments solely for their own enjoyment, espcially when you’re convinced the rest of the world has a baby attitude. As for adulthood, I used to have the same attitude as Namdor, just got a lot milder in my older years. And now I just see a twerp stealing mission candy from a COSMOS newb (no offense intended towards newbies) because I grew up, a second time perhaps. So I can tell you’re not there yet.

PvP in a PvP game. Grow up.

Screwing other people over for enjoyment is very intentionally part of EVE!

Just like the forums very intentionally want to keep discussions civil.

I would suggest to keep game and real life separate. Screwing people over in the game is very much part of this game, which is no reason to threaten people outside the game:

You are mistaken. I did not say that to find a bannable offence.
I said it to draw attention to the fact that you called someone else out for being a ‘tough guy’ while underhandedly threatened the use of an ‘adult response’, ‘if only the forum rules did not protect’ the tough guy?

I found the irony hilarious.

That concept is invented by people who want to be an ass, but not thought of as an ass. It matters WHO you screw over and WHY, at least to other people. To you it doesn’t matter if you crack a corporation’s structures or steal PVE candy from a baby, we get it. Good luck with that.

I think my move would be to just, buy the item, and then harass or war dec that person after the mission is done, and you can prepare, you can decide after if its still worth it to you to seek revenge. You may realize its not worth it, or it may provide years of content.

The moment you realize all EVE forums are just avatars discussing with each other about their differences and disagreements constructed after the years, everything else is preamble.

Do you also complain like that when someone takes one of your pieces in a game or Chess, or makes you pay when landing on one of their houses in Monopoly?

Please realize that EVE too is not real life, but is a competitive game against other players. And that piracy, shooting your spaceship or stealing your corporation’s assets are all just aspects of this game you decided to play.

If you don’t like that, don’t blame the players, insult or threaten them; just play a different game.

That would be silly. You do not see the difference, that much is clear. BYE.

HI!

I don’t see anything wrong with PvP in a PvP game.

I see the difference between real life and games.

Yes, people can choose to play nice or play nasty against friends in a board game but in the end that’s just what it is: a game. And friends would laugh if you played nasty in a game, or band up against you if you’re ahead. Such are the dynamics of games we play for fun.

There’s no need to hate players when they outplay you in a game.

Some people cannot handle losing well during games. If you ask me it’s no fun to play competitive games with such people, or as such a person. I’d recommend a cooperative game instead.

There is no need indeed, that’s why I chose to do so deliberately. You keep pretending that stealing candy from a baby is “competative” and “play”. **** that rhetoric. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about Eve players is that they do indeed see childish pestering as equally “competative” with ship-to-ship PVP. That the gonk pressing F1 fosters the same respect as someone that can defang a ship properly. They simply don’t, but boy do they WANT to.

BYE. For real this time. I’m not replying to you anymore.

Bye! I guess you’re one of those to not lose graciously in other games either.

But remember, games are supposed to be fun so if you aren’t having fun, why play?

You keep pretending that full grown adults in a video game are “babies”.

Get a grip on reality.
