Any solutions for Socket closing yet?

Rebooting did the trick for me… saw it worked for someone else and I’ve tried everything else

clear you cache, then reboot, should work

Still cannot connect been trying for 1/2 hour

how do I clear the cache from the launch screen. (sup doragon)

Literally just restarted and it’s working now. :ok_hand::+1: Before restart I verified files and it deleted a bunch of files.

when file you have deleted?

You go to reset settings (last tab press Esc) and at the mid there is a button ā€œClear all casheā€

Click the cog wheel (open settings), then click Shared Cache Settings, then wait for it to parse, then click Verify.

I’ve just finished verifying files and deleting extra files so I’m about to restart my PC and I’ll let you know how it goes

It worked…! I restarted my pc and logged in and it worked…!

to to character selection, but don’t select character
esc, settings, clear cache, then restart

Still Cant connect keep getting socket closed all on all accounts

Im still down & no sign Of it coming back on yet, Any time scale here to back up ?

And if you cant get into the char selection ?

Seeming so far US people can connect but UK people cant. Unsure about EU overall but us guys from UK cant connect. Just socket closes

Does CCP share any code with the TSB* ?

* TSB is a bank in the UK which has been down since last week

us players still having connection issues. after character select you get almost entirely ingame and then youll get a socket disconnect error and the client closes
