2018/04/28 - 11:28 UTC - Connectivity Issues - DDoS Attack

and? they live in 2003 together so…

Canon is not a game company, so you’re kind of proving my point. No different than me, I work in the financial sector. CCP can’t afford me I’m fairly certain - nor do I think I would be a good match, honestly. Just pointing out that the economic reality is, not everyone gets paid rock-star salary level.

Your hard earned money! DOWN THE DRAIN. IS this what they think of americans?
They are working with the chinese! @CCP PLEX SALES OR I KEEP POSTING

its amusing that you assume to know what I do or dont understand about Linux.

And you are correct none relied on the MSDOS tools, apart from millions of its users.

But if Linux distros offer an easy way to recover files lost from accidental rm -rf , awesome. I am glad that I am wrong if that is the case.

oh they actually gave me 500 plex my little pony defense right now :carousel_horse:

Nice! Did they fix the DX9 vs DX11 issue?

Could be your ISP is having a DDoS attack.

I host my own isp. Off a underground cable i dug to main hub in city!

Well, since I can’t even get into the login screen, I guess there is no risk to me today. I’ll try again tomorrow.
Waves 262$US at CCP. COME AND GET IT!

restart launcher. if it doesn’t work, you might be on the list of suspects

aha aha ! dx9 we are on dx12 so yes ccp is a very good band of dev!

Wine 3 has DX11 support.

Not the first time when this happens near Eve’s anniversay… If my memory serves me well, it happend around this time of the year also in 2013 on the 10th anniversary.

The first defense is best - a USER cannot execute that and do any real damage to anything other than his own files. Real user level security was non-existent in DOS. Everyone operated at the level of complete administrative privilege. That is a fundamental, fatal flaw. Better than being able to undelete files, why not prevent ordinary users from deleting things they shouldn’t in the first place? Oh, right - because it’s DOS, it’s a tinker toy at best.

Still goes through their server, it could be attack, any server on the web can get attacked

Is there a place we can see more information about the technical side of the attack, for people that might know a thing or two about this stuff, I would hazard a guess there is a few of us in your player base :stuck_out_tongue: ?

Oooh nice. I see a fresh CentOS 7 install in my future… Just need to dig out a spare machine.

If elected, i promise and swear i will make eve great again!!! Better security teams, and sexier players!! ANd for the not sex players i will send them to drone space!
