I canât still cant login. i click play in the launcher it says âstarting clientâ and then nothing happens
Socket closed again! and again!
I am still getting a socket error as of 9:30 am PST. any help would be appreciated.
will i get reimbursed hell no with both ddos i have lost enough to not be able to plex 1 of my seven accounts how is this right
Depends if this was hitting a vuln, or not. DDoS arnât always about a Vuln in your system 
and for a curious person it always worth asking 
I suspect your right we will not get to know more. Not in a public forum anyway.
I love how CCP says that the TQ is back open and accepting connections and then doesnât say anything about the fact that we still canât get in

Donât get me wrong, Iâm not blaming CCP for the servers being hit by 2 DDoS attacks, but itâs a little annoying being told that thereâs no longer an issue when there clearly is one
@nezzymay_smit It isnât right. Thatâs why DDOSâing is a criminal offence in many countries - but it most certainly isnât CCPâs fault, so why would you expect them to reimburse you ?
If everyone got reimbursed every time there was a DDoS attack, it would just incentivise people to launch more DDoS attacks

All these RW tears and flames against CCP for the DDOS.
Come one guys, CCP is being RW ganked at their own RW network gates and most are blaming CCP?
I see so little tears against those who are actually causing the problem. Rather most seem to be crying foul for CCP having troubles shutting down the DDOS.
Has any of those members who are tearing up actually had to fight a RW DDOS? It is a notoriously difficult task that obviously CCP is working to resolve otherwise there would not be any updates or posting related to the issue.
Yes, many of us pay to play and while it would be nice for CCP to compensate for our loss of time to get to play the game. However, the best thing they can do at the forefront is to be sure they learn how this particular DDOS is occurring and what it took to shut it down so as to prevent another one.
Are you claiming that you actually had some to lose !?

Anyone who can start the Launcher, but canât connect, try running network diagnostics from the Laucher and see what it spits out
Edit: to see where your Launcher tries to connect to. It is possible that you lack behind with resolving the right address
Force restarting my PC worked for me
Nothing works , restart not helping , sucket closed xd
