I’m going to say this attack originated in the USA. Only US people are intelligent enough to nurture a bot net with unprecedented reach and power with their stupid internet of things craze.

Expect a lengthy war dec.

oO what is wrong with you? im asking simple questions, and i got some good awnsers ( unlike your useless gibberish). and if you dont understand the logic of what im asking ( and apparently some people did cause they gave some useful awnsers and ideas) then i cant help you. just get on with your life and get out of this thread, if you feel kinda pissed off about my postings here…man some people…

Ya? 20 year old attack vectors are mega scary bro.

Wholesome Post: Thanks CCP, game is working perfectly again.

See you ain’t just a pretty pixel!
But yeah as I said and like you said, sort their servers out! Sort the biggest problem, replacing items lost by tickets is time consuming and which wouldn’t happen if they secured their servers from an already antiquated issue.

Dont take things out in advance now, usually it happens in bursts and i lost my beloved drones twice that way

You Sir, made my day !

Oh boy… you need a college degree to fix a TV or something dude?

Don’t worry, just me in a fragile cargo ship with lots of PLEX.

Same here  i have 20bill i stole from Goons to give back to all the people they ripped off

Easy way to fix TV: throw it in the trash.

Oh you mean actually separating the unauthenticated traffic from the primary application servers? What a concept. I just want you to know that someone else who understands basic security architectures saw your post, and acknowledges it. Like this isn’t a 0 day attack here…

What she means is move the keyhole somewhere else.

This does make sense in theory, but as far as I know this is already the case. It is just that when the game servers get attacked, the login goes down too - because it checks if they are up.

With a lot of HS corps using Null Sec corps as fronts to engage in otherwise superficial activity couldn’t one of the Null Sec alliances have been responsible for the recent DDoS seeing as how they would also hide behind proxies to conduct their attacks on the server much like they hide behind Front Corps to launch their attacks in HS?

Even the pope could be responsible - guessing will get you nowhere.

Guessing is always better than a Uh Huh.
