Just a quick tip for CCP.
Next time you guys add new DDoS security measures to the servers, don’t tell the whole world about it. It’s just asking for it.

i think they wanted someone to test those security measures 
since their QA team is…hmmm… trying not to say bad words so i wont say anything.
Did you try connecting using a VPN? Not that this should be necessary, but it seems it worked for some people.
come on CCP get your act together 5 hrs playing in the war last night, well if you could call it playing turning my settings down to reduce server lag, getting booted out the game every 2 minutes, trying to log back in with no joy.
All this for an amazing £9-99 a month what a bargain NOT.
Your game is turning into a joke PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

Login Server down?
I can ´t login. How long for repair?
I can confirm, that the login servers for forums and ingame are not working for me from within the UnityMedia Germany network. Using a VPN into a datacenter (and using their network) works mostly like a charm. Too bad that the laptop running the vpn is basically unable to play Eve. 
Still several accounts/characters without the SP compensation gift.
Also, still randomly having socket / disconnected issues. Which are typically followed by auth issues for the account that crashed. Sometimes killing and restarting the launcher helps. Sometimes it doesn’t.
i’m really hoping it comes back up after the restart I have been unable to login since yesterday evening and I have been trying every 20 minutes for hours 
I do understand its a really complicated game your managing ccp so its fair enough there will be some issues (I still love this game) just hope I didn’t lose too much with my market orders

Chat server is still not connecting. Can login but keep getting the chat not connecting error went to the page with the page that lets you test if you can connect to the web page and can connect fine through browser so it’s not the firewall whitelist etc.
Everything was working fine for me a moment ago.
The other night using a VPN was the only way I could log in.
Now that would explain why i was getting logged off every 5-10 minutes got logged off 7 times and called it hope all is well and good your end CCP Falcon
Agree 100%, definitely a major problem. Too much downsizing and streamlining.
