yeah but then the issues around the null fight are not ddos-related, but simply heavy load on the cluster.

unless the ddos is directed at this node, which should not even be possible if the network architecture makes any sense at all.

Goons comms was DDoS right before CCP was DDoS. This is not a cool thing, and even the leadership of each group are not happy about what is happening. I think it is a rogue individual trying to help his side, but really messing up. I hope they get this guy and remove him from the internet totally. This type of stuff is toxic to our community and to the game itself. Go CCP in getting everything worked out, getting the servers able to withstand the attacks, and rooting out the cause! Work with the world police force to root out and take down these toxic individuals!
