If you have gates you will have local giving away your identity. That’s how it is supposed to work and not even the uninformed rambling of Falcon will change that.
That’s manifestly untrue which is the basis of this entire thread. The only thing preventing the devs from making local in nullsec go in to delayed mode is hesitation and pandering to botters/krabs with local scrapers.
Thank you but I am not a botter and I really like intel without added effort without appropriately added benefits. If I could earn a couple hundred million in 20 minutes like in W-space, I would be fine with delayed local. This is also not the basis of this topic. The basis is CCP’s coding incompetence.
You can just illegalize local chat scrapers. And get people banned for using them and creating them. Win-win for everyone.

I dont think it will ever again work for everyone at the same time. Still worse than what we had, but one good thing in all of it, it could have been even worse, for example it could have been like in GTAO when it comes to sessions there. 
And oh wonder, the chats are not working after today’s downtime. Microservices sure are a huge improvement to the EVE usage experience. =)
Oh, and another downtime to fix an issue with chats. Yay.

We had a startup issue with the chat cluster - currently rebooting TQ and the chat cluster to rectify this.
Living close to CCP HQ, I think I just heard somebody shout “O FFS!!!” coming from that direction.

Chat seems to be working after the extra server reboot after Wednesday’s normal DT, but… there is always a but isn’t there… ingame chat motd’s are from Monday morning. Somehow CCP rolled back to really old version of the motds.

Darling, fix the chat system already. You broke it last month or so and require people to repost chat messages that you wrote to invite someone.
