AWS is the same like Azure . They have different datacenters . So if One it’s down , it’s going to the next one ( flexibility )
Well quite simple, no working chat which is essential part of the game, no active subscription!
Since Tuesday, the problem exists and is today angeganen, it would understand if it is free to play. But here people really pay a lot of money or finance it by ig money and their time. I have many active accounts and it’s just no fun when simple features do not work. The chat is essential for this game whether local or fleet or others. no idea why this is so downplayed here.

It is STILL very broken.
out of 5 toons logged in the same system.
only 1 has a working local or any other chats.
all 5 show in station as docked.
Toon with the working local / other chats, sees none of the other toons in local/other chats.
Even though they are all online in the same system, docked in the same station.
Log out and log back in and the toon that works will change at random 
CCP you going to bring back the time old tradition you use to have of giving SP to folks for the game breaking problem?

By the way. that is as of right now time stamp wise these problems are occurring.
So… please do not insult with the messages “no further reports of problems”
can confirm, chat is still broken, messages not being sent, local not updating etc
Perhaps this is a good thing and should be left unfixed. It’s a perfect situation where a bug becomes a feature. No local and chat introduces a game-changing challenge where getting help, knowing who to warp to and getting perfect intel becomes more random, introducing more ways of gameplay.

Players who like the challenge of ‘no local’ already live in WH space.
“Everyone else” finds it difficult to adapt to.
Players voted with their feet during the 2019 “blackout” - note the peaks in Ripard Teg / Jestertrek’s chart:
Miners and ratters in null space simply refused to undock; although it could be done if you had scouts actively watching nearby gates for hostile traffic. When hunters stopped finding prey, even they were in the forums asking for the Blackout to end.

I agree , having just read about the plan to delay local chat in null for 15 min. this “bug” is a dry run for the upcoming change. Way back when CCP outsourced chat we were told that if the problems persisted it would go back to the previous method. It is extremely frustrating to me that for an mmo celebrating 20 years, one that I have paid good dollars for since 2008 it continues to break down. As to the new blackout , the last one nearly killed the game. Is CCP’s master plan to finish it off this time around?

CCP should really consider giving some sort of reimbursement to the community for this awful screw up its really the least they can do.

I don’t really blame CCP as its Amazons servers that are messing up, but im sure amazon has told CCP when they will be back up a relay to us would be nice with that info so i can decide whether to sit here waiting for things to be fix or play another game.
either way no matter whos fault it is CCP should do something for the community to reimburse them for this it wont cost them much but it will show that they care about their community
Now, I don’t want to point any fingers, or start any rumors, but I do find it interesting that these chat and Local bugs have been happening ever since CCP Hellmar’s Avatar popped during the celebration. Things haven’t been quite right ever since.
But hey, that may just be a crazy coincidence.
Okay all joking aside 14 accounts with paid subscription, 3 days of not being able to do anything except spin in station! should I cancel my subscription until you all figure out what the hell is going on. you keep saying “No further reports” however your player base is reporting like crazy! just read this thread!
