25m SP New-ish Player Looking For small-gang EUTZ PVP Corp

As the title says I’m looking for a EUTZ PVP Corp that dabbles in small - medium roams and such.

I’m a 30-year-old dude from Norway that played EVE for the first time in 2005 and since then I have been playing this game in short stints for the last 15 years, but have never really “gotten into it”, and despite my many hours in this game I’m not at all a good player, and I consider myself a new player.

I’ve got a full-time job and a relationship to maintain which will always come first. Due to this I won’t respond to every ping and I can’t log on at 03:00 on a weekday, but I hope I’ll get some hours in most evenings.

Apart from EVE I do play a varying amount of different videogames and have done so for as long as I can remember.

I had a short stint in one of the newbro programs for one of the big blocs a few years ago, and while I do understand the effectiveness and efficiency of being able to form up big in cheap ships, it wasn’t for me.

This does not mean that I won’t enjoy larger battles and defending/taking sovereignty and such, as I do enjoy the war stuff, but I don’t want ‘anchoring up and shooting @primary for 20 hours with 10%TiDi’ to be everything I do, as I find smaller engagements to be much more enjoyable.

Recently I’ve been trying to roam low-null to find some decent solo PVP, to make mistakes and learn from them, but I either roam for hours without finding anything, or I feed into a larger gatecamp with 4 Machariels and a Nightmare + logi. Have had a few good fights doing this, but most of the time I get blobbed.

So I’m looking for a fairly relaxed tight-knit corp with grown-up members where I’m not just a number. A corp that does a lot of small- to medium-gang stuff in not-so-small ships. A corp that will be willing to show me the ropes and help me get set up, because I’m not good and I have a lot to learn.

It would also be nice to have opportunities to make enough ISK to fund the PVP shenanigans. I’ll also add that I’m more interested in good fights, and not all that interested in throwing 4 battleships + tackle on a single cruiser, not even “for the lulz”.

I’m thinking I want to live in NS or WH space, but I get the feeling that wormholes favour the patient and that it is quite time-consuming, though I might be wrong here as I have no experience with WH space.

My main currently sits around 25m SP and is focused almost entirely on flying ships to try and blow up other ships. I also have an alt with around 5m SP that I used to do some mining on (I found that to be a bit boring) that I might consider training towards caps and such, but we’ll see.

At the end here I’ll just add that I’m not interested in ganking new players in high-sec, not interested in any alt-right corps(I’ve heard they exist), and I’m definitely not interested in having some angry FC yell at me over coms. I’m an adult and I expect to be treated as one.

I am a returning old potato who has created a corporation based on learning’s from playing eve for years! We have discord and people are always available around the clock. I am UK based and most of our members are EU/US, some from your neck of the woods. Generally were a very friendly bunch mostly industrialists but involved in a number of other things too including small fleet PvP, alliance ops and lots of PvE :slight_smile:

Come check out the Sons of Luminaire. We’re a small gang PVP corporation operating out of Jita and roaming into low and null at least three times a week with an average gang size of about 8-10 guys. We fly subcaps ranging from frigs to cruisers to battleships and try to find the best fights possible - we’re not interested in finding anything other than quality content. Anchoring is against the rules.

We’re EU time zone exclusive meaning our fleets start between 1800-2000 EVE time. Our core member base have been flying together for a while but we always welcome new blood and offer a genuinely relaxed, friendly environment.

You say you would prefer to live in null and be able to make some money - we don’t live in null and we don’t have any corp level sources of income, so you’d be on your own when it comes to making money, but we do have everything else you mention and I reckon you’d be a real good fit with us.

Welcome back to eve! I’ve been a small gang pvp’r since 2004 and there’s nothing better. My corp is relatively small (EU) that loves to pvp. Most of the core group have known each other for about 8 years and play other games together too. Comms are usually full of banter and laughter in a fun and friendly environment that’s catered towards people with busy real lives.

We have some fun corp roaming comps but also encourage solo and kitchen sink stuff. Living in Drone Lands there are also plenty of opportunities to make isk to keep the wallet healthy for more pvp :slight_smile:
