Whats probably going to happen is were going to get to fanfest 2023 with bugger all added.
I’m sure the new FW will have been released by then.
It had better be good then.
I live in null so doubt it will have any afect on me. But i will try it out. Then complain on here if its crap
I was going to add exactly that to my post. Yes, it had better be good for the sake of the game and their profits.
LOL, wouldn’t do much good.
Yup complaining on here passes time for me while i wait for the brm in my home system to rise passed 60%
Billing and Revenue Management system?
Business Relationship Manager
Bloody Rediculous Mechanism
Well, at least you’re not an NPC on this forum like many.
Non-Playing Complainer
Lol no im still a still paying still playing complainer
That’s a complainer I can take seriously.
Voted my dissatisfaction with my wallet. Last sub runs out in 6 days. Real quick before it does… CCP is run by morons that think we are all idiots. ■■■■’m all.
Astounding news flash for you that I realize you did not ponder.
Devs take summer vacations too.
Perfectly within your rights.
Will you be Alpha then or are you just going to walk away from it all?
That not so nice to say. While I understand you are heartbroken, EVE is just a game but the devs are real people who, I think, are trying very hard to take EVE to the next level, to please their boss and feed their families. I’m sure lots of mistakes were made but can we really curse the whole team when only a few high-level persons decided to temporarily act like alleged morons?
Anyway. I hope you stay as Alpha but otherwise find yourself another game that has the potential to entertain you as well as EVE did. And good luck on that.
Note that i said run by. The devs, for the most part, are just doing their jobs. It’s being run by morons that think we’re idiots. Thats a true statement.
None of my ■■■■ works as alpha, so ill be back when its fixed.
I am really not sold on new players ability to compete or make a good ISK via industry.
I don’t claim it isn’t possible. It always was and that is even for alphas, if you observed the market properly and quickly produced a stuff that someone bought up completely. However, it was never a means to make a killing because it was just a matter of time when these veterans with dozen of production alts undercut you with 1000+ pieces.
As I wrote already in other thread, I do like scarcity changes, generally speaking at least. However I am not sold it really does a favor to new players. We could really need an actual new player opinions on the matter, all we have here are baseless assumptions.
Anyway, to explain why I don’t think so:
- Production of pirate and faction ships from blueprint is nonsensically high especially when you can buy the whole ship for less. Makes this area of production completely gone.
- The actual cost of pirate and faction ships + battleships on the market is double of what it used to be. I don’t think this is good for new players.
- Market is still over-saturated. Are these really a stockpiles from 201X ? Whats more, the actual price of the ships on the market is basically 100% of the production cost. Meaning that the only one who can get some ISK on it are those with maxed skills etc.
- Other trade hubs than Jita basically just died. Maybe Amarr, with that change to Niarja Amarr seems to be kinda detached region now with its own market, but the other hubs are quite dead. Is this good for newbies or well anyone? I don’t think so.
And PLEX costs. That is probably not related to scarcity itself, but considering that majority of the new players are coming into EVE as Alphas with a goal to PLEX their omega by grinding, the raised prices of everything are definitely a deterrent to them.
’ Nothing!
Absolutely nothing!!
You So Stupiiiid!!! ’
1 ISK for correct reference…
Isn’t that a true statement for pretty much all corporations nowadays? Isn’t it true for pretty much all “leadership” everywhere? All the competent people have been pushed out of upper management, in favor of yes-men who agree to maximize quarterly earnings in preference to long-term improvement.
