3 Thing you would like to see changed in Eve Online

You do not need instances for any of this. Using instances for any of these or other PVE elements goes against the core gameplay principles of EVE. You would be removed from space and thus from the risk vs reward paradigm that governs … or rather, is supposed to govern all of EVE’s player interactions with the environment where other players can be and are active as well. Instances pervert EVE and give not a single good aspect back to it. It’s artificial, it kills interaction, it requires special rules to accommodate the people that depend on it to survive, and it allows two different, incompatible mindsets to exist and compete with each other to the detriment of the entire game.

Maybe not but being eve is full of ppl with multiple accounts ( 19 for me personally ) why would i want to spend weeks or months training a toon for a specced role when i can just go create a new toon and by skillpoints and inject them.10 mins later and Boom i now have a maxxed out JF or links pilot or another titan pilot… So yeah SP’s are ptw

  • Stop giving alliances an implicit undeserved advantage. They already have advantage in numbers and yet we give large alliances unique features no one else can have. (sov. supercap docking, jump bridge networks, etc.). Focus features and perks on CORPORATIONS and make that the central theme. Large alliances have ruined the spirit of eve and the sense that as a small group, you can make a difference.

. Manufacturing Citadels in High-sec are a joke. They are nothing but a constant easy-kill target and once again, unless it’s massive citadel supported by a massive alliance, you have no hope of keeping it alive. One more clear way CCP favors large alliances and uses small corporations as fodder.

. Manufacturing is vastly too easy to do, and vastly too unprofitable. No one individual should be able to produce 50 different products at max efficiency. Force players to specialize in limited areas or product lines, as in real-life they do.

Wow.

Plenty of people play solo and dont need to gurn over what they dont have.

Also, if you cant keep your structure alive in HS you really REALLY need to L2P. IF youve been losing them to wars you are really doing something terribly wrong.

Make up your mind.

  1. Upkeep costs (ISK or materials or both) for capital ships (yes including freighters and Orcas)
  2. Exponential sov bills.
  3. D-scan tutorial in NPE.

This, right here

That wont happen. Rattati and others have stated numerous times that the end goal here is to remove open world content like incursions, missions, pvp etc and focus it on instanced content that can be streamed and marketed. This is what the players want.

  1. Account Plex Wallet to earn interest
  2. Blueprint Loot Boxes
  3. Add Plex to Hypernodes

Just adding the point that toons in stations would rightly require a specific ‘station chat’, with a defined range, and not simply using Local. I’m all for it, and I think it would provide a better sense of community and especially help noobs to not feel alone in the game.

you are not understanding
she don’t want “toons” in stations
she wants Aiko in stations
i think is fair enough

Except Billy. You can get rid of him.

Except you can’t win EVE

Also that just saves you time. Those SP doesn’t give you in game skill. Learn the difference

You got that proof or

Heh. Imagine the screams.

  1. A more intuative combat system
  2. More direct engagement from CCP on things the player base argue about.
  3. More opportunities for creativity and customisation

Still wouldn’t stop it. That’s what a VPN and virtual machines are for…

  1. Reworking of tackle modules to be less of an on/off switch. Maybe this is an idea for Eve Online 2, but it made no sense that a giant ship can be scrambled forever by a tiny little frigate. My idea is that a warp scrambler would apply a certain number of “scramble points” per activation, and each ship would have a warp core strength based loosely on its size class (cargo ships and mining barges would have quite a low strength) that would remove a certain number of points per second. However, the points applied by each warp scrambler would be subject to diminishing returns so eventually the target ship would be able to warp away if it survives long enough. Naturally, there would be specialized ships that get role bonuses to scrambling.

  2. Gate guns in lowsec should actually be a threat instead of something that bigger ships can ignore. I was thinking they should target an aggressor over a period of time (say, 20 seconds in 0.4 rising to 40 seconds in 0.1), and if they get a lock on an aggressor it gets concorded.

  3. The ability to train two skills at once for half speed, or two characters on your account at half speed.

This makes no sense.

Its low sec for a reason ROFL. CONCORD doesn’t operate in low.

Mm another no. Your bias is obvious

You can tell that you basically just wanna fly big ships that can tank things and get away with low risk of death

the guns hurt a lot
the problem is that people can warp away and come back
but be a neutral and bait some dude to attack you under the guns and point him
you win with 1/2 o the necessary firepower i can guarantee you

btw thats why solo players and even very small groups simply ignore DSTs in low sec
no way to kill them under the guns … even if you point them (hard task to)
thats also why DSTs like the impel are key to low sec supply

i love my impel … so cute

A unique idea. Thats why it will never happen.
