Not exactly, but it does filter out suspect packets. Not sure if it can work well for EVE Online. That’s what CCP has to verify.

any time i login it gives me a error, then if i get in i get in chat is still broken, like all of them, error code 5222
Same Issue (Not able to connect, tells me my connection is the issue but everything else works just fine).
I’m from switzerland.
Weird thing is: with my laptop i could login to one of my other other accounts that is alpha but not into my main Omega a minute ago - same same connection. After trying to login on my main (didn’t work) that ceased to work aswell
I can confirm the login issues persist, and that chat is still not working (at least for me). Literally the same errors I’ve been having all day.

Just found a gold nugget few posts up: Hitting connect again in the client itself after i get the message actually worked for me
Took three times to get logged into the game and still getting:
I cleared cache after trying to log in and still had to try three times.
I’ve restarted my desktop but haven’t tried my laptop.

Login fails 9/10, when I am able to login it takes 5-10 and once in game its unplayable due to horrible lag. Chat is also not working and I’m being spammed “EVE System > Could not connect to chat server live.chat.eveonline.com:5222”. I play with a few friends and no one has been able to play for about 5 days now. Looks like we’ll have to play something else this weekend, we were looking forward to PvP’ing in a group for the first time

Last night I could not connect from Indiana. However after sitting in the main menu and spamming the connect button it would eventually let me in. Was mostly okay with only a couple of instances of severe lag.
To people teaching DDOS. Please consider that eve as service is not open to the public, it’s open to registered users. And it has a relatively small user base, as compared to a real public web service, at least. Looking up an IP address in a trusted list is not more effort than looking up the the nexthop address. Maintaining a trusted list would be an effort however.

Also while I am never happy to hear pilots are unable to log in to eve, I am happy at least to see that the problem is not just localized to north America anymore. I don’t know much but it points me in the direction its not the trans continental Communication pipes and Is more likely something related to ccp. Glad they are still working on things there.
At this rate though, 5 days on and their tech teams must be consuming copious amounts of coffee. Should start a “coffee for eve It/repair Crew” fund to keep them going. Oh and you can have some coffee too @CCP_Convict 
I can confirm still connection issues and chat issues. I can connect after first try. First try always gives me a connection error. But the chat issues has been the same all day.
i dont know about chat, i still cant connect at all.
Been trying all morning, couldn’t get in even once
sporadic being able to connect, get the launcher and press connect, I then get the blue screen saying that it could not, poss isp, but if I press connect from there I sometimes get, with or without chat and local, from uk

I cannot connect if I just try a normal connection from the East Coast US. If I connect my VPN to London for example I seem to be able to connect fine.

I should also point out I am able to get in, after multiple tries and set skills (at least there is that) and I have been able to kill a belt rat here and there to get the skill points. but it is a chore. after about 20 minutes it seems that the game stops responding/modules lag ect then I get a dc. Just putting it out there as information, no complaining.

Had no issues while many of my corpies and other alliance members were complaining of lag issues…dc’s and being unable to log in…
Then last night USTZ…got kicke doff eve…and been unable to log in since…
@drinking12many I just tried your trick connecting to London through VPN and it worked great. No connection issues and chat is working. Thanks for the tip.
