And when you still can’t catch them, then you’ll want filaments nerfed some more. Just like with cloaks, even when they got nerfed you people still whined about cloaky campers, and wanting them nerfed again. Give 'em an inch, and they’ll take a mile.
That’s the problem with players who think the game would be in the perfect state with just one more nerf. Then another. Then another…

Because, as with most things that nullsec residents want changed, it doesn’t just affect nullsec. If filaments took 30 seconds to spool up, that would give high sec abyssal trace hunters time to probe a player down and shank their 6 billion ISK Gila before they even got to enter the instance. Pretty sure Pochven residents wouldn’t be happy with that change either.
Just explain to me how it’s a bad thing to have a possible interaction point more to generate content. do you hate content?

Well, you stated specifically Needlejack filaments. But, thank you for making my case for me. Now you don’t just want Needlejacks nerfed with a timer, now you also want it to be Pochven filaments. Like I said, it never ends…
This is my stance, if you disagree with me, that’s fine, but there’s no reason to call me bad at the game or insult me over it.

Your proposal and the agenda behind it and the mindset behind your agenda. Instead of trying to get better at the game you try to meta the game by attempting to have the devs cater to your lack of dedication.
Have you tried oh, I don’t know, maybe guarding the ESS? No? Why is that? Because you don’t want to risk getting tackled and dropped on. I swear, nullsec residents are the most risk averse players in the game.

If you think that the risk is as high as the potential reward when you take a filament to rob an ESS, you’re quite frankly dellusional. But I doubt you are. I think you’re OK with it being easier to get out than it is to catch people. I know how to run in circles until the timer runs out, but I personally think it’s not as good of gameplay as it could be.
And you all act like I want it to happen all the time, my initial suggestion was a deployable like mobile observatories.
Those don’t break the game. They have a niche, and when it comes up, its sweet gameplay.
You can stop making assumptions about my intend, you keep on missing.
Like I said, adding a 30 second activation timer to Needlejack and Pochven filaments affects everyone in the game, not just those trying to rob your precious ESS.
