its not a bug or a glitch
its about trusting a person and giving them access to alliance assets which are then stolen
Please never stop typing.
Judge is a hacker it may be in game but stillâŚ
lol lol
but there are no laws making such actions in eve against the rules. eve is a sandbox GAME in which we are encouraged to explore what could happen given a different set of rules. backstabbing is part of eve. someone who might do something like this shouldnât have a such a position of power. gigx and the community they both built brought him to this power. I doubt it was his plan all the time, or maybe it was a plan by csm to set an example of how real some ppl take this game and this is one of the first cases coming to light where there is hard proof that more than just the eula was breached. there will be more in time. and then maybe people will learn itâs a game, donât inflict real life fear into our comrades or enemies within the world that CCP owns the IP to and can do anything at their own discretion. watch out hate mongers - the CCP banhammer is looking for you!
<3 <3
i donât know your words so much sorry lol
Itâs ok. Just keep typing. Me enjoy very much.
not saying that against EVE im just saying how i feel .
ccp retains all right too all Intellectual Property within eve. the sub you pay is a rental of their IP. they can revoke the right to use their IP at any time for any or no reason at all. (mind you, they usually make sure to have a good reason I hope) the stuff the judge stole is in game money, it has no real world value in ccps eyes. so there was no RMT. what draws me to eve is the risk, there is no other game I know of that when you die you lose everything on you. you actually lose something for making mistakes. all the other mmos I can think of when you die, there is only a nominal fee to repair some stuff but you still get to keep it all. this lawlessness is what attracts people to eve. it weeds out the people that need to be spoonfed and encourages pilots to learn from their mistakes.
I donât care what CCP says IN eula in the USA it dose not matter as people log IN USA and in east texas CCP would lose cuz its hacking end.
however, when you agree to the eula - you agree to letting all your rights as a us citizen away. as far as eve online is concerned
you even agree that should you take them to court for any reason, it will be in a court in Iceland. the us law canât really do antyi8ng to protect you after you agree.
@Nomie_Kim_Kim you should take a real hard look at the EULA and read ALL of the words. It is a binding contract once you click accept. if you want to remain in CCPâs world, you play by their rules. Your country has absolutely no bearing on anything that happens in their world.
Donât mess with Texas law man.
with that kind of logic you could say blowing up another players ship and taking the loot is hacking
using game mechanics to steal from another player is hacking right
Yep and im not joking CCP will be sue in till its end .
have fun trying to win in an Icelandic court, after you signed away all your rights by accepting the EULA. btw enjoy the 3 months sub you may win if the court finds in your favour. definitely worth the what 60$ at most you might want to start a go fundme, cause I hear ccp has really good lawyers that know Icelandic law very well.
the game is about that /but bracken â â â â is not ths was only a feather after it could no be fixed Texas gives a â â â â about Iceland law .
what couldnt be fixed
the feature isnt broken it was designed to work the way it does
when you give someone access to corp assets you run the risk of them stealing the assets
thats all on the player and and has nothing to do with exploiting bugs
ya it all good in Iceland but USA players can sue /and if you think not look it up in us .
Well⌠The story told this way looks very similar to Erotica1 case⌠Maybe they should have the same outcome too (permaban of Ero1 and The Judge) ?
