A Month Full of Bugs

Do you really find it normal that a company with hundreds of thousands of clients could rob without consequences all of them for 50c each just because its “pocket change” for anyone ?

Maybe that’s how you became rich huh ?

You do realize that CCP falcon has stated they are going to reimburse us right? They are just waiting for the bugs to actually get fixed before they hand them out. Cause otherwise we would get people like you coming in and saying “hey you reimbursed us but the bugs arent fixed yet!!! I wamt another reimbursement.”

  1. Post history.
@Crew_Member and @Sasha_Rits both posted last in November 2017 in the same threads. Now all three posted (Turin_San for the first time) in July 2018

  2. Writing style
All share a writing style like this. In short sentences.
    And paragraphs. Paragraphs!

  3. Forum join date
Nov 8th & 9th for all three of them.

  4. Overall Forum use similarities
Each visited 4 days. Overall read time for each 21m, 26m and 43m.

  5. Security Status
Both Crew Member and Sasha Rits claim to run missions, the posts are not even an hour apart. Both have 0.0 / 0.1 security status.

  6. Corp
All in the same small corp with only 3 Zkill entries. Similarities between many chars.
More interestingly look at join and leave dates. It will show you.

All of that together makes it highly likely that it’s one guy with 3 alts, who is trying to support his own agenda aka hating on the game. One or two of these things - okay. All of them together, nope, it’s clear.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, wait for it…

Also there are more of him here:
@Zutan_Rits, @04DAM, @RedxLeader, and so on.
Best self-like post so far… 12 of 13 likes created by his own alts. lol, what an effort.

It’s was a rhetorical question

I’m sure there’s a lot of other names that have also posted in the same threads.

Which doesn’t really prove anything.

There’s a whole lot of other characters who also joined on the same date.

Can probably find a bunch more characters with the same stats.

Distribution missions don’t increase your security status, neither do most Storyline missions as well.

Those could just be personal friends who all started playing this game about the same time.

Maybe try playing the game instead of wasting time doing a bunch of useless research. Guess that explains why you haven’t experienced any issues with the game server. Sounds like you need to validate your own self-worth by Investing time and effort just to hopefully refute someones claim.

By the way, the game server has indeed been really shitty lately.

Actually I only did the research because you asked me how I knew. I didn’t. I suspected because it seemed weird in this thread. Now I know.

Seriously, this is the weakest ad hominem in a while. Get good.

There were some issues, so what. My claim is that EVE players are rather spoiled with how well the servers are running on average. Many players understand that and they’re humble and somewhat in solidarity with the Devs so that they don’t totally freak out about issues. If someone states he’s unhappy about the current state, okay, I can accept that.

You say how it has been for you and I can only say that I absolutely didn’t have any of those issues. Logins are fine, connection is fine, stability is fine, gameplay is fine. There were some rare problems with chat but only under specific circumstances which are avoidable.

Now, if one guy comes here and uses his alts to push his agenda of ranting about the game, why should I not question his motivation?

OK, played the last couple of days intensively with multiple clients and did not encounter any issues at all with the server or the client.

Maybe those problems are on your end?

Nice work! According to Anderson, when you start talking about people’s behaviour and motivations, it’s an ad hominem. : - )

Yeah, she also thinks science is all about proving things

Even forbes seems to disagree. I’d say we nominate Anderson for the title “Honourary US-American”.

I think it would only fit the general definitions of “ad hominem” if I tried to invalidate his argument.

The thing is OP didn’t even bring an argument, just a statement. And I think I made it clear that while I don’t experience the named issues, I have no problem accepting that other people might. I do have a problem with people trying to fake “public” support for an opinion/statement though.

In return, my argument absolutely goes against the person, not his statement.

To make this more clear: If someone states that everytime he passes a cat, he’s smelling sh*t. Now, no one can prove him right or wrong, as no one can really tell what his receptors are telling him. It’s his own personal experience. It only matters if the tone of his statement and the general setting is viable to create anti-cat sentiment. Then, it’s absolutely necessary to question the person.

In the case of this thread, I think it’s compareable. OP states his own personal experience, but in a way that isn’t looking for answers or solutions. He’s just throwing dirt. Now, I could somewhat accept that if not for his obvious use of alts to even further this agenda. And that’s all.

If someone wants to see that as “ad hominem”, I have no problem with that.

Science is about feelings man. Feel it, and it becomes true.

Guess I was lucky too, the last month was not better or worse than the ones before.
