A serious crime is being commited out in the mining belts. Having taken up residence in a system just outside of Haelana or however its spelled I was shocked to discover ventures ruining my ratting experience. I could hardly enjoy my content, even in tactical mode scrolled all the way out it taunted me all the visual upgrades. A blemish in an otherwise visual feast of starships and lazers. It was then i understood what was happening, i was being griefed!
It wasnt the fact that these ships are an already gaudy eyesore but they were filthy, unkempt in i guess true miner fashion. These uncleaned vessels are bringing down the property value of my new home, always parking themselves in my little corner of the world. They even dock at the station without so much as a hey how you doing? How am i doing you ask? Terrible get off my lawn!
Like typical miners they dont even put on cool skins, they simply all were the drab colors of a half rotten banana.
Im now at a loss, do i pop these griefers and be labled a ganker by the AG for defending my freedom and home against these invaders?
My thoughts are simple if they didnt even care to clean the ship then most likely they wont care to lose it either. If anything im doing them a favor evicting them from such squalor as they will have no choice but to procure a clean albeit still gaudy but less of an eyesore ship.
Unfortunately, the difficulty of Project Discovery is higher now and there’s no daily login rewards. These players cannot independently figure things out such as Skins and obviously don’t know how to use the market if they get scammed by all these buybacks and high tax newbie corps.
I knew the learning curb was steep but i didnt think it could possibly be that bad. Before I even knew how to a fit a ship proper, I was diligently cleaning the space dust off my ride. Its right there in the skins tab, at the time I window shopped delighted by the different colors and patterns its a sad state of affairs.
Its like driving a cadillac with aluminum chrome rims and letting break dust accumulate on them. At that point you could have just settled on a beater with some plastic hub caps.
I wont lie though, i was a huge fan of the daily login in reward system. Even if it was only just a few thousand isk or a few xp here and there its what prompted me to go from alpha to omega. Its sad there so adverse to what the game has to offer they probably dont even realize they can collect 15,000sp once a week a free gift.
But I cannot abide by these dirty ships, why just this morning i left my little station in the prarie only discover someone had stolen an entire astroid belt off my front porch.
I had even asked the pirates what was up, but as usual they never gave me a straight answer. Why you mumblin at me like that.
I was going to take my grievance to Githany Red, but having been a purchaser of a fine mining permit i knew exactly what the end result would be. As we had seen what had happened to Ryan Bancroft, who was profiled with prejudice and bias.
No, I think it’s high time CCP provided gated communities to keep these plebs out. I’m appalled that I have to scoot past dishevelled miners to buy my bling at Jita. It lowers the tone of the neighbourhood.
well you could make yourself the major of such system, claim the belts and enforce the behavour you desire, with either nice words, money or firepower.
Ventures only get attached when it is an easy target.
It was proven today when Jason Frostpacker was mining in his asteroid belt at Uedama safe haven that not even the famous Rafa Quinterro bothered to take a shot.
