I don’t think I’ve ever been ganked in highsec…but I haven’t been playing long either. This seems hardly the problem…I also never haul more than 2b worth of crap
We all choose the ships we fly, and choose our company we keep or dont keep. It is up to the player to defend his ship, including the option of making, and bringing friends who can defend you.
No one is to blame but yourself, no matter what ship you fly, and all of it is PVP.
You think any of your “real” pvpers would pass up the opportunity to destroy a freighter passing through nullsec? Or do you honestly think they would refuse to attack, because it’s not “real” pvp?
Let’s be honest, your “real” pvp friends would gladly pounce on a freighter or jump freighter in nullsec.

No, I actually throw ISK back to people I ganked if I feel they have a good attitude about it and are genuinely interested in being a better player.
But if the player is just complaining or swearing at me in all caps, then I respond in kind.

My answer is, I help players all the time, even when i Gank them, but you have to remember that this is a game, and not real life, and people who spout death threats and swear with all caps over a video game, whether it be Dota 2, League of Legends, or EVE online are going to be considered toxic and people dont like interacting with or helping players who are toxic.

You know full well that a freighter in Nullsec is even more vulnerable than a freighter in Hisec. But no one calls it “Dishonorable” to shoot a miner, orca, or freighter in nullsec. This is where your bias against ganking comes in. Its perfectly fine to gank in nullsec. Its dishonorable and terrible if you gank in hisec.
