Abyss T1 Dark BUGS are killing pilots - Get rid of Abyssal DMG?

I lost TWO Vigi Fleet issues in very similar manners, both in T1 Dark Abyss…
First time I was in last room, just killed both SKYBREAKER and PACIFIER,
then as I was going after the nodes, some kind of BUG pushed me out of boundaries,
and before I knew, I was dead. All that effort for nothing. It should have been easy.
Infact it was kinda easy.

Second time I recorder everything. I bought back my ship, remade all the Abyssal modules,
made a cheaper clone, worth 800M anyway… the other was 2B Clone…
And after clearing of rats the first room, when I moved to take the extra cache,
BUG stopped my ship 2mt from the container, and then shoot me 300MK in a random direction killing me instantly.

So I filed a double reimbursment report for both ship and CLONE loss.
There is nothing I did wrong as I see it.
I always keep my MDW on, and getting on top of a container, it stops anyway…
bc that is your target… but the moment I clicked somewhere else, it resume full speed.

That is how I was able to collect all loot from these sites.
Look at my Vid. It’s FAR from normal.
IN T-0 sites it never happened. Only in T-1 sites.
This suggests me someone is trying to alter the site, or it is being visited by thousands of players and the main server is crashing or having OH problems… or the line switches are having OH problems… keeping UT time all aboard…

Maybe there should be an announcement - CLOSE FOR MAINTANANCE . So guys like me don’t go there driving their new bycicle and fall off a cliff at the first turn bc some guys decided to remove them and replace them with a bike lane made of colored stones that give off lights only by night…

ANd as a side note… if BUG caused LAG is super intense in some sites for some unknown reasons, would it be possible to turn off Abyssal Space damage untill things get back on track???

So instead of having to deal with reinbursment tickets caused by this single annoying consequence of not HAVING A CLUE where you ARE… it would bounce players off back inside the Abyss???

Bc BOTH my death ARE related to ABYSS out-of-bound damage…
and it shouldnt have appened…

Also, my M2 Mini is connected to 1Gb Fiber with cable…
and it’s the ONLY computer utilizing band also…
So at least on my side, there should be no problems, before anyone makes some assumptions…

You had your MWD running in a dark environment inside a tachyon cloud while sitting in a frigate. Which results in a theoretical max.speed of like 20.000m/s. And you spam-click like a maniac multiple times per second the “open cargo” command which tells the server it should calculate the range to the container and approach it if above 2.500m. No wonder the game just kicked you out of the boundary to die, it probably just hates you at this point.

Jesus Christ man. Rest assured, if humanity is ever able to create a truly sentient A.I., it will target you first. How can you hurt the server so much? What has it done to you?

Also in the video is clearly visible that in the last second before you got catapulted into the void, the “approach” commando ended, as if you had - accidentally - clicked one time too much into free space. Coincidence? I think not.

Thanks for the chuckle, lol!

FC will not reimburse you.

I haven’t watched the video and I’m not very knowledgeable on Abyssal content, but lag in the game 99.99% of the time comes from the player side. It’s your computer, your internet connection, or whatever else that could get in the way.

I’m on 1gbit fibre as well. I still get the occasional hiccup (one reason I don’t run Abyssals). And when the fibre is 100%, some dill weed drives a cherry picker into a high voltage transmission line…

yeah, oh, but if I clicked . approach container, my ship, lag or not lag . should approach the container, because I didn’t give other commands to the ship, the only possible outcome should be: the last command received. Here, in both cases, the “Approach container” request was sent. So Lag or not, my ship should have landed, maybe with a 3 s. of “lag glitch” directly on the target, but not, not received at all.

I received a “Cease&Desist” from a PM I won’t name publicly.
They didn’t provide any server logs verification proof in any environment amongst the many
possible, where the timestamp can be interpolated to extract the “average performance” of a
site, and “lag” in parallel, to see if there are connections or are unrelated.
I Didn’t say it was “LAG” I posted my good connection to avoid this kind of talk.
It was NOT lag that killed me. It was something else.

I did 30 T-0 sites immediately afterwards with ZERO problems.
Whatever happened is hidden in the LOGS-
When the Skybreaker exploded, the “Approach container” command was not registered or was registered but the program crashed with an error, or a bug permitted a small window of misbehaviour, that could be READ as LAG to us, but it is not. It is THEIR program misbehaving.

But this could be one small error because of a recent change, that nobody noticed, and I was the only one impacted. Everyone Else that loses a ship because of LAG in an ABYSS, remember that 99.99% of reinbursment are being systematically denied because of SCAMMERS that pull their plug seconds before losing their ship and then go to Mama or Papa crying… LAG killed my ship.. bwhwhwhhwahaha… eeeeehhhhhhhiiiiiiihhhhhh…

This is different.
I’m Queotz.

I demanded a full reinbursment. For both ships and drones.
EVE should know that a reinbursment request usually comes with facts.
And facts demands facts. In other words, the LOGS of the server side analyzed.
No-one here, in this forum, can predict the outcome without knowing the FACTS.

Please refrain to damage EVE image as ITS Forensic TEAM should be busy right now,
trying hard not to damage their reputation. Any fortune-teller please wait before jumping to conclusions.

You are so biased you are OBVIOUSLY not fit to deal with HUMANS.
The game do not hate. People do.
The Server received 20 clicks? Fine. always do, because I never know when and where that window will open, PLUS, I want to make sure to STAY EXACTLY ON TARGET.

What have you done to the world for not to see all that is wrong with you???

Cloud or not, it Don’t matters. I click 40 times, I want to make sure I land EXACTLY on the target.
If the game explodes, than it’s a bug maybe within that particular room design??? Some object occlusion that should not exist??? Or protrude???

And you see the human as an error.
I’m sorry.
Without us EVE would not exist.

He make me vomit.
He thinks machines are superior beings and we are but bugs.
He’s always on the money, and don’t understand how human mind works.

You are making assumptions based on what?

I provided facts and demanded facts as a counter-argument.

Any reinburment case goes through a forensic analysis.

You are waicing your opinion based on someone else that hates humans,
does not know how to approach humans, does not know how a forensic analysis is being made.

HE contadicts himself in the same sentence and then… of course the machine must hate you…

When clicking 20 times “open” “open” “open”“open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open” “open”

is my style of play, because I never know when my ship is in range and the window will open for the loot, so it’s my style of play. not someone thaty machines should hate. Could or not. “open” “open” “open” do not throw you 20.000km away in space— some strange bug occured…
it is so obvious but yet all you can do is yell at the “fool dancing”…

I feel pity for you.

Sorry Meridan, you decontextualized two line of a 200 lines argument and made some assumptions on the last two lines. It’s somewhere else. The key.

Again, you felt victim to the same decontextualization effort based on the last two lines, and wrongly presume that my Internet might be the culprit. It is not. I ran 30 T0 sites immediately after and go ZERO LAG whatsoever. Only in those two sites. It’s NOT LAG.

On a side note, YOU are Christian. That might explain your need to Shepard the lost sheeps.
I think you will be targeted with a much higher priority than me.

mwd+dark abyssal. He hit a speed cloud and a lag spike at the same time and yeeted to narnia. It’s unfortunate luck but, what can you do? worldwide network infastructure has hiccup’s

No www infra. I ran 30 sites afterwards with zero probs. Only THAT site.
That site is bugged. It’s on their SIDE to provide a steady experience across all content.
It seems like very “unlucky” that you just cleared a t-1 Dark site, beaten both a skybreaker and a pacifier, with a 30M ship, and you’re getting out with close to 30Mil in loot, and the www “crash”.
Why never crashed in the 30 sites I made only 1.2M in loot?
The site is bugged, has too much un-optimized content (how much A.I. is the Skybreaker using?)
Or something else is at play.
This isn’t misfortune.
It’s been designed poorly, and it ran poorly. Causing all sort of problems.
I was not meant to survive. But I did. An “unfortunate” event is a program function.
I made it through all obstacles, just to be killed in a strange phenomena when clicking “approach container” instead shoots you into death territory.

That was a deliberate design choice. Make the program malfunction if the player is close to winning. It’s a very widespread tactic in gaming and other “computer based” applications.

A cloud doesn’t change a command.
“Approach container” in a cloud or not, will always result with you hitting the container, then if you are close in, at say 2.500mt., MWD+cloud or not, it will just slowly approach the container.
I did it a million times.
you can miss the container, but in 8km max, it will turn around and come back…
If you then switch off the MWD just prior to reaching the container, you usually avoid overshooting. Being overshoot from 2500mt some 2000km away is not how it should work.

It should be clear as the sky.

He hit a cloud with MWD on.

I was 2500mt from the container!!! And it wasn’t opening.

The LOGS don’t lies.
The ISKIES are printable.
My CASH is REAL.

If it’s a company “order” to foresee all Abyssal incident as “player client caused incident”
as to save workhours that would require investigating in hundreds of cases, where there might be a chance, that 5% are real bug events from the Server side, and save that 95% of workhours
that are really futile attempts to recover what is lost. I Understand. But when there are facts and situations mentioned that makes ZERO common sense as to why it should be on the player’s shoulders all the burden, when a 5 min. time analysis could definitely give some credibility to the affected players, in a short burst of justice, that singularity could get a different treatment no-one had for a long time.

the images speak for themselves. I was treated like a christian believer.
I am not.
I do Woodworking, that is the only thing in common.
And I am poor.

Also, the last click you mentioned, is true, but the other 40 “open container” clicks apprroach, not one worked. You Clearly didn’t see the Elephant in the room, and instead concentrated on inappropriate, unrelated, visual clues, that would give you the merit to have disproved my content.
you have been flagged.

Oez noez! Please don’t flag me! Someone halp pl0x!

Man just learn the game. Turning off your propmod when entering a tachyon cloud in the abyss is basic knowledge. That death was a 100% avoidable by simply making some educated decisions while piloting instead of keeping everything running more or less brain-afk and clicking around like a madman.

CCPlease, fix the pilot!
