i was in the abyss during cluster shutdown and then i self destructed to get out of abyss after shutdown because abyss was empty, attempted to get back in and found this error.
Submit a bug report in game (hit f12)
That way they get logs for it.
Iām pretty sure they said you could use the ā/movemeā command to get out if stuck.
They seem to go all the way to the all the way to the boundary of the pocket iām not sure if this is intentinally designed to pull u 75k from the gate or what but they head straight for the boundary never cross it but so far all of them have taken me right to it and i cant kite them or even get them to head towards me or anything to lure them away from the boundary til i burn 75k toward them then they turn and run the other way towards the other boundary
I would almost say this intentional so that you fly out of the safe zone if you do not pay attention.
So kill it before it gets to the boundary. Not hard to do. Send drones after it and feed it some missiles.
the problem is that it was already 56k from me when i came in the site and made a Beeline right to boundry through heavy anti drone anti missile point defence
I havenāt had any problems with them in a Gila in the same situation. I burn to within 54km of it, send out the drones, and then the missiles when I get to within 27km of it. Yeah, it makes it to the boundary, but just barely before it dies.
it might have just been because it was the first time i encountered it and i was doing it in a Stratios but would still like CCP input Drifter battleships also seem to do the same thing no way to pull them off the boundary
If you need to ask should you bug report it, you should make a bug report about it. If you think something is not working like it should, make a bug report.
First of all I would like to say that I understand that the drop rates are exaggerated due to the testing. That is not what this is about.
I am hoping that the ability to find a Tier 5 filament does not continue to drop in a Teir 1-2 ahole. Due to the extreme nature of the value of loot coming out of these things or to the value of the filaments themselves I believe that all the filaments should drop accordingly

I feel that the modules/skills/bps should also accordingly drop as progression happens and the difficulty increases. I think to get the bigger better stuff you should really have to work for it. Right now it seems as loot Table is borked. Can it be more like this?
tier 1-2 small modules/skills/bps/decayed
tier 3-4 medium modules/skills/bps/gravid
tier 5 large modules/skills/bps/unstable
Im sorry if I mixed up gravid and unstable but I think you get the Idea. I feel as though this will make people feel like they are progressing and also being rewarded properly through difficulty progression. There should also be a slight time increase for the more difficult aholes buy like a minute per tier.

I was running the new Abyssal deadspace sites in my Ishtar.
I was in a dark matter site, where everything get a speed bonus and the Drifter started pulling range on me.
Until it hit the red mesh, stopped and my drones started taking damage from the Abyss.
Because this was my only source of damage i had to burn into the Abyss to get the drifter to burn away from the boundary.
While this is probally not a bug, This is very annoying for anybody running these sites in a drone boat.
I hope that you will consider this behaviour before the sites roll out.
I have noticed the drone battleships doing this as well, I am not sure if they are just ātrying to get to their optimalā or if they are smart enough to deliberately try and lead you into the wall.
Which lets face it is a trick players would use.
Ishtars can carry plenty of drones I have a set of sentries for this type of situation
the tier 1/2 ships are dumb, I was keeping range on one and noticed it was making a run for the boundary, so I got behind it and it turned around and it flew right at the gate to the next pocket

Stuck on Player already in abyssal
My client bugged out while activating a filament and crashed ( bug report submitted ) and now I am stuck on āMessage Not Foundā Player already in absysal. Clearing cache did not clear the message.
Quite annoying because I can no longer test the abyssal deadspace.
Even after the cluster restart i still get this message. Guess Iām done testing until this feature hits TQ.
The localized effects are neat. They didnāt affect me much (other than the boundary obviously) but I think theyāve got potential. Itās not clear if they affect the NPCs too, if not that should be added to their descriptions.
The visuals look nice and different. The sites are a bit sparse, could do with some more dynamic stuff. Also thereās a very strong fish eye lens effect on the background at 1440p, itās pretty disorienting. I take it the gas can loot box model is just a placeholderā¦
All the sites I tried (up to T5 with various different environments) are easy to do in a 100mn T2 Ishtar. The velocity/turret range one was the hardest because drones were missing a lot, I ran out of time there. I think there should be more focus on anti-drone stuff, like NPCs with smartbombs or environmental effects that disable drones. Like all PVE, drone boats make it easy and boring but youād be stupid not to use them, so give us a reason not to use them.
I never saw a timer, but even with one your impending doom isnāt communicated at all. Thereās no change in the music or visuals, you just die suddenly. This definitely needs some work before it goes live because itās super lame. At least throw some kind of post processing filter over things when youāve got <1 minute left, or change the background colors, or something. Itād be fantastic if the boundary region started shrinking as if the site were collapsing on you.
Entry points need to be kept well away from citadels or people are just going to park an alt on the guns while they run the site on their main, or worse yet park a super or FAX in tether range to cover them. Without at least a 1000km distance to structures and other abyssal sigs these things are going to be farmed in complete safety by half the game. Also youāre going to see the olā āopen the portal in the middle of the sunā trick make a comeback, mark my words.
All in all itās not a bad bit of new content and I think itās got a lot of potential going forward.
I saw the comment about towers spawning outside the boundary being a bug. I dont think it is. Had that on the 2nd one i tried and it was fun skirting the edge of the bubble while that thing wore down the drones behind me. CCP thinkin outside the box. Love it.
Btw, the only bug ive had so far is when my hobgobs are returning, they sling around my ship and then go idle like 5k away from my ship and i have to repeat the return command.
Oh and one more annoyance: i tested an idea about bringing a warp scram scripted hic point in to shut down the droneās mwds. Didnt work. Not that scrams ever worked on NPCs before. Wishful thinking.
