Allow Capital Ships, Supercarriers, and Titans in Highsec

Dont lump yourself in with CCP; you arent good enough for that. And how do you propose to prevent a rorqual mining in high sec, unable to be wardecced and can just press the panic module as soon as anything resembling a local spike shows up?

Capitals are allowed in HS but will have a permanent suspect timer, only 1 point of warp stability, and cannot jump.

fixed it.

That idea was floated a few times on this thread, my issue with it is it completely destroys the ability for the solo/weak group player to survive with a capital ship. If ships are suspect, you can have a several hundred nullsec capital fleet with a decent chance of survival, but all the inhabitants of highsec will not be able to use their ships because they’ll be suspect, leaving highsec worse off than before.

The minority and weak player needs protections from the majority strong player, through the highsec engagement mechanics, or else he will be oppressed and run out of the game.

And allowing capitals in high sec would hurt new players more then any other group.

I disagree, new players cannot access capitals because they are limited to the good old boys club in null, if you do not have permission to be in null, you get killed and no capital for you. How does a player in highsec obtain a capital without going to low/null/wh? He pays for a sub and is entitled to have equal competition with other players.

I’ll compare myself to God if I wish.

Bump it, or gank the drones, a fleet of machariels could easily cause the rorqual to start moving after a few hits, making his mining a pain.

Actually it discourages large capital fleets. If all caps are suspect and a neutral fleet engages 1 cap pilot, only that specific pilot gets a limited engagement and can shoot back. The rest of the capital pilots in fleet just get to sit back and watch, unless they want to get concorded for their friend that is.

Thus any sort of safety in numbers is gone in highsec. any group of neutrals can engage the percieved weakest capital pilot in a fleet and the rest of the fleet is helpless to defend them.

Paying for a sub means your entitled to the same game mechanics as everyone else. One of those is no capitals in high sec.

Sometimes you are so clueless it is good for a belly laugh

It seems odd to use an “it would be good for newer players” argument to justify allowing capital ships in hisec. Very odd.

Of course you are very aware of the costs associated with flying caps, I’m sure. Do you expect your players to pay the real money that would be needed for a newer player to get / fly a cap ship?

Let me be the one to answer that question with a happy little image.

Yes. Yes he does.

“Sabus tell me how to do this pretty please!”

Talk about feeding ones ego, its nauseating

There fault with my guide?

Either way defense against bumping a fun little side activity for highsec residents, imagine bumping and moving fast with capitals.

At what point should players new to the game be able to get into a capital? Next to none of them will be able to afford it, and even less will understand how to fly it. Hell you cant even use them for bumping. All you want is to profit of new players.

At what point does a new player get into a battleship? When he can/wants to.

That a fact? You going to teach them how to fly those ships properly? I’ve yet to see you do so, for a newbie friendly corp. You dont teach them anything except how to spend actual money for in game items, then complain when they lose said items, and that they should complain to CCP that it’s just not fair.

You disgust me.

Please forward any and all evidence of his wrongdoings towards me.

Teaching new players to fly ships beyond their means is a major disservice to them and to EVE.

Every ship size has a lesson or two, how to kite, how to not be kited, on and on.

And me as well, I want to see this so called ‘evidence’

All ships are unique and have different roles, but the old concept of if your a newbie you need to fly a frigate for 3 months is not a good one in encouraging newbies to stay in the game.
