Alpha changes (enforced HS green safety)

You represent a certain player type and you come on the forums to tell us about it. Why is it harassment when I use you as an example of the type of player you specifically identify as?

Seems to go around these forum. Losers attack when they have no vocabulary left to explain how horrible their points are. I don’t take it personal… and you’re right about dogs.

I think you would find self-reflection very beneficial. Be the change you wish to see.

What makes you think I want to see any change? I ain’t complaining.

Yes, that’s what you think.

Yep. You’re welcome to prove me wrong.

Unlike half of the basket cases roaming these forum I don’t have the urge or need to prove anything.
First I would spend precious minutes being genuine in a post about proving you wrong then you would treat it like a lie and ridicule it so I’d be damned if I’m going to waste my time like that, especially on a request from someone who doesn’t know me from Adam or Eve.

You could always try me, instead of putting words in my mouth.

If it’s the latter, I’m willing to just drop it now and let you be free of this conversation.

The whole concept of ‘legitimate’ targets presented by CCP is nonsense. Ganking is not, and has never been, solely about target value. If CCP developers ever actually played the game they’d know that.

Ganking can equally as well be about territory and asserting dominance in a particular area. In which situation the value of the target is irrelevant. So for CCP to argue as if only ‘high value’ targets are legitimate goes against the entire way the game has been played for years and years.

I don’t try anymore. I’ve lived long enough, have traveled and been around large enough samples of human beings to know that what you’re asking is total bs.

And yes, now you can say " so you don’t blahblah… got it" bs.

You are only a week into Eve and thus still in the land of the sane. However CCP secretly give people Basket Case Credits over time…so rest assured your basket cased-ness will increase over time. I hear throw away alpha and alts other than a person’s main get a special double supply of Basket Case Credits for use on the forums.

That Venture pilot would soon learn it is causing major disruption to the dominance of the system he’s mining in.
That Venture is a threat to dominion and needs to be blasted into space. That’ll teach him to threaten system security.

Tsk tsk, those Alts get all the fun.

CCP just wants an ethnic cleansing on gankers, they don’t want people trying it with alphas

Well, the best option is an old option:

  • in the slot #3 make an alt and buy it a secondary training qeue, implant it with +3 implants and let it train for a month into Catalysts, if the thing picks up then in the future by another secondary training qeue

Since it’s in the same account as the Omega account, now you don’t have to pay the sub for the ganker and the toon is trained

But that doesn’t fit the narrative. So Githany Red is no longer considered an AG’er.

She’s now a gasp ganker, spreading ganker lies and ganker misinformation.

It doesn’t address it at all.

Looking at the tethering/docking change:

  • Complaints about ganking new players and empty targets were just as common prior to tethering as they’ve been since tethering. Tethering is a convenience, not a pre-requisite to be able to gank

  • Gankers will return to pre-tether practices and gank anyone they want, just as they did before

  • Gankers don’t have a habit of undocking from a station and then docking again in their ships. They undock and go gank. The docking change won’t impact them (it will impact lowsec pvpers who occasionally come to highsec, more than it will impact gankers).

On that last point, looking at whether this will increase costs for gankers who need to use tags more frequently to be able to dock in ships if they wanted to:

Overwhelmingly, the security status of current active gankers, at least in Safety., Novus Ordo. and CODE. is -10 or -9.9. They don’t repair the sec status. They operate effectively as outlaws.

So they won’t need to buy tags, don’t need to be able to tether and the cries to nerf ganking will continue.

I demand that sec status be made to prevent undocking in a ship as well as docking. How could CCP have overlooked this?

And any ship like an orca that helps them reship in space needs to get a suspect flag or something, and a weapons timer, and some other bad stuff.

I reckon, just lock outlaws out of higsec all together. Once someone hits -5, they are transported to the nearest lowsec station by CONCORD and not allowed to return to highsec while ever they remain an outlaw.

Get those ganker scum out of my safe space.

Now you are talking!

No more compromises. No more half measures.

The United States of America is highsec, but criminals can drive around, walk on the street, but if you walk in the wrong place in Detroit, St. Louis and others you could get ganked.

There’s proof of a gang on tether in real life:
tether

Also, how can PvE activities always be of law abiding citizens?
There was never a mining or hauling mafia?
Did they never steal anything?

Having no moral ambiguity is not very appealing
