I would agree to make everyone pay a sub again. but ccp isn’t going to do that. So its lame idea of ip limiting isn’t working. Alpha should have the safety locked in empire this would stop the hacker’s dead cold. If you want to gank in empire use an omega account or join a corp and war decree your targets. In 0.4 and lower the alpha should be allowed to turn off the safety at any time without restrictions.
Other games restrict PVP to new players for the first 30 days or base it on playtime or ability points again any of these methods would also work. locking the safety for first 40 hours of online time on alpha accounts or only allowing the safety to be turned off after an alpha reaches 5 million skill points are also viable but harder solutions to implement.
I seriously doubt ccp will do anything its already over. The employees running for the door tell me that…

The vast majority quit without experiencing pvp. In fact there is a correlation between getting ganked and staying around longer.

If you want a PVP game, buy an Omega you cheap ■■■■.
If you don’t want a PvP game, buy an Omega account and fly the tankier, more expensive ships that require Omega. Why should my gameplay style require a subscription and yours shouldn’t? In fact, PvP has been EVE’s default mode for all of space since its inception.

That’s nice. Note how you said on discovery… That’s the part that makes the Insta ban meaningless since they have to discover it.
It is a problem with science as a whole, actually. Not a lot of people actually try to repeat experiments done before by others, because it is not that cool and profitable as getting completely new results.
