Alpha clone suicide ganking need to stop!

Say it to average ~13K EHP Covetors/Retrievers
They can be easly killed by almost anyone.

Then don’t fly them, problem solved. If I would do missions there are ships that work great and some that don’t, so I don’t fly them. In pvp same thing, some don’t work so I don’t fly them.

Low/Null doesn’t rely on safety switch… if I am not mistaken

Did you leave the 65k Procurer which is also available at the same skill levels out on purpose? If you want to gank that one it will cost you ~3x what that ship is even worth to kill it as a ganker. On top of that the miner will receive the insurance money while the gankers don’t.

To make your mining in Highsec 99.99% secure, all you have to do is literally to pick the right hull and everyone will completely ignore you. How hard is that?

Dont ask krabs to make tactical decisions

Lowsec uses the safety switch. Nullsec ignores it completely, as does wormhole space.

A single alpha will struggle to kill them and if it isn’t a single character then refer to the rest of the message you quoted from.

solo Omega no problem, but then that isn’t relevant to this thread.

Exactly! We are already at a point where it is literally zero effort to mine in almost perfect safety without having to ever worry about losing your ship ever, but still it isn’t enough.

Now we have them crying because they feel entitled to mine exclusively in their min/maxed farm setup with perfect safety. Well NO, getting vulnerable to ganks is the trade-off for that increased yield.

And let’s be honest here, the difference in actual yield is absolutely laughable. There is zero reason not to go with the safe option. The Proc, Skiff and Orca could use a nerf (or maybe buff the other ships, idc) to their yield to make that difference more meaningful.

And why single alpha can’t call a friend? Or few.

They can, hence, read the post you quoted from. It’s all explained there.

Then they put in an amount of effort and teaming up where they’re most likely going to win from a solo, afk, non-effort, zero tank clown. As it should be.

I mostly do solo PVP, there’s no point in me going “you can’t fleet up against me because I’m solo”. That’s dumb, I choose to be solo in this competitive pvp sandbox. My choices have consequences, so do your choices. If you don’t like the consequences of your own choices, make different choices.

And why a group of players cannot disrupt your solo mining operation?

By almost anyone you mean not a lone alpha in a destroyer.

And that’s bad for the game because?

There’s a choice here, max yield or survival; in Eve your choices have consequences.

I know which one I prefer, which is why I use a Procurer.

People actually mine in covetors with cargo expanders fitted. Those are an easy gank.

If you put your bigboy underoos on and leave highsec, you never have to worry about being suicide ganked again.

I agree with the big boy pants, but you don’t even have to leave hisec to never worry about being suicide ganked; you just have to be not dumb, lazy or greedy.
