Yes, and I should have been explicit: when ISK is worthless, the only thing left to turn to that affects others is status symbols. Status symbols are not novel and yes exist on TQ today, but they mean something when someone undocks in a Raiju and proceeds to run circles around their competition – literally.
I can’t imagine the amount of isk necessary for it to become worthless. I guess that’s just what happens when you put in the years?
The answer lies within Eve game story , what if you were able to hire NPC escort within the empire limits the better you’re standing with the function the less you pay for the escort and better quality of escort ,
That is nice also for missions your playing alone most of the time you’re going to have to split the profits but you going to have fun ,
The escort NPCs will be able to defend you and repair you depending the type of NPCs you select.
Yes, but do you really think that the carebears would go there? Especially if all these former highsec gankers are now gatecamping or hunting in lowsec where we driven them off, ie lowsec twice as dangerous as before?

Oh, this has a very easy solution.
CCP should create a police force that automatically spawns and destroys players who illegally attack other players in low-sec. The response time can range from something like 5 seconds in a 0.4 system, to about 20 seconds in a 0.1 system.

No not another one, a thread necroed after several months while in the meantime alpha clones have actually had their ability to initiate PvP in high sec removed so the OP got what he wanted.

At work we have these yearly trainings that we have to take to be compliant, stuff like workplace safety, harassment, etc.
Anyway, they are teaching now that visible/tangible harassment doesn’t actually have to take place for a person to “feel” harassed, and for it to be actionable. So for example if I’m wearing a red shirt and you feel “sexually harassed” by it, a complaint can be filed. And maybe it’s a frivolous complaint and won’t lead to anything, but it will still be legitimate and considered. And in practice will probably lead to some kind of “conversation” with me about wearing shirts of an “unappreciated” color because no one wants this to become a “thing” and for HR to get involved, even if it’s fundamentally stupid and nonsensical.
So maybe Alpha ganking is the same thing? It never had to actually happen for players to be threatened by it, so it was “addressed” despite the idea of it being fundamentally stupid and nonsensical. And even now that it’s impossible, some players are still threatened by it and complaining about it happening in theory, therefore it’s still a problem that needs to be addressed further?
CCP really needs to do something about the concept of Alpha ganking! Hypothetical scenarios in which it could occur are getting completely out of control!

Alphas can still be used as a fleet warp-in point on gank targets, scouts, cargo scanners, and also as loot scoopers after the gank. I’m sure that will be the next complaint…

Yeah I’m sure the safe high sec lobby would be happy to restrict safety to green only (for both Alphas and Omegas) because then they could get rid of thieves, baiters and deployable shooters all in one go so they can rat and mine in 100% safety… until they meet a diamond rat (which they already complain about anyway) so they get rid of those next.
