Alternatives to EVE?

Isn’t that the one with the Reman Scimitar, aka How to make everyone hate you?

Also moved from GD to OOPE.

Dual Universe seems interesting but still in closed beta meaning I won’t touch it nor invest in to it.

Hmm… if you want to hate, like REALLY HATE the developer of a game you’re playing, go play War Thunder and meet Gaijin Entertainment. They’re a bottomless pit of pettiness and greed, from their 80+ forum rules to their policy of “if you don’t pay, then you’re so f’d / if you pay, then you’re so f’d too”.

Seriously, Gaijin is so terrible dealing with their victims (“customers” would involve a degree of respect) that they make CCP look bright.

It’s okay but needs a lot of extra content being supplied by the community for it to be fun, and even then the mod scene needs a substantial amount of help from the devs in adding functionality to be expanded with future mods. Sadly, KSH isnt helping matters. In short, its got potential but I’d advise you keep on looking.

Try Avorion. There’s even EVE mods for it that make it look, play, sound and feel just like EVE.

A great alternative to EVE is Perpetuum. Originally developed by Avatar Creations, since 2018 the game is under the development of a team of volunteers coders (with backing from Avatar Creations). Many current and former EVE pilots are now playing it.

You can check the official website at https://openperpetuum.com/ and the game client is available for one time 4.99 Euros on Steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/223410/Perpetuum/ .Besides the one time cost of the client, the game is completely free to play with no cash shops of any kind.
