social skills also play a part in that, so like criminal connections, diplomacy and connections helps to modify the standings… and if you want an easier route to fixing standings without grinding, you can also hire the USIA to fix your standings for you… faction and corp… not sec status though…

I was the complete reverse. I loved the reddish and orange hues of Amarr and Minmatar space, and hated the overly bright and white space of Caldari. I think the brightness of Caldari space has since been toned down…as I even recall posts here complaining about it. It used to be so bright that one could not read one’s overview properly in some situations, which is not a good thing.

I did like the reddish hue but it makes the suns too bright.
It feels comfortable to me, don’t know if/when it was tweaked but my eyes thanked me when I got into Caldari space.
I don’t have Overview and Locations windows transparency. I switched to opaque when I noticed that it was hard to see and Overview is too important to reduce its usefulness for cosmetic considerations.
Phased plasma is always a good choice
