An apology and truce offer to Grasten Auritus

Not really, Ms. Jenneth. I would recommend you looking through first replies of kul_Shaishi on these forums, especially if they were about me. You’ll get the idea.

I highly disagree with your judgement about this person. If you will have time I will show you my point. Obviously, not here.

I don’t know how you can say that about a person who was posting unrelated kill reports into IGS as “argument” and… well, the list of transgressions is really too high to keep that here. And I am not sure I really have to point on anything here, since it’s already on the platter, I can only recommend to look more closely at the replies before making a judgement, it would have more merit.

Anyone still doesn’t know that he has lost his honor?

Urgh…

I think that’s what I have been doing so far.

Oookay, and here we go into insults again.

I was a better opinion about you after all, Ms. Jenneth. I am not interested in discussion with you any further.

D. Kim, Strike Commander,
State Protectorate, CMC,
Caldari State.

Completely random tangent, but you realize your my 4 or 5th most liked person right @Diana_Kim? 16 times.

Totally want to offend you at every turn…

Very unfortunate. At this point she causes the problems more than Kim does.

EXCUSE ME, Ms. Kernher! But… did I cause any problem?

You frequently lack “grace under fire”. You feel a need to respond and defend yourself against any perceived slight, whether true or not. Often to the point of going into unrelated threads just to disparage someone you don’t like by calling their character into question. You and Makoto especially both do this to each other. If one of you post in a thread, the other person frequently comes in to call the other dishonorable or shameful or whatever. All it does is shame the both of you with this childish tit-for-tat. And this often leads to constant back-and-forth between you and whoever has triggered you, derailing whatever the thread might have been originally about.

Now, certain times a response is warranted. Like countering Deitra’s ridiculous assertion about this apology relating in some way to the CMC censure. But most of the time, personal attacks should just be ignored. Your character is demeaned more by your efforts to defend yourself than by the things other people say.

With due respect, Ms. Kernher, I do attempt to make my commentary topical and relevant. For instance, in the discussion relating to Kim’s CMC propaganda contest, I made a very specific point of her associating the Templis Dragonaur, a known terrorist group, with the Ishukone Corporation, a State megacorporation in good standing.

I would contend that your statements create a false equivalency.

Hm. And by indicating that I cause the problem more than Kim does, you’re saying that, if I were to cease posting on the forums, it would be more peaceful than if Kim were to cease posting on the forum.

Well.

Interesting notion. We’ll have to agree to disagree.

I’m saying you both need to learn how to shut up.

Ahh, no worries. Admittedly I’m guilty of it myself at times.

That’s not what she means and you’re smart enough to know that.

You act as a force multiplier. An annoying clown fumbles and pratfalls around the place, being annoying but that’s something that can be lived with. Ignored even. It becomes a bit different when you take the form of a megaphone, amplifier and a giant floating vid-screen focused on said clown, following it around everywhere it goes.

You do contribute to this place quite nicely, but it tends to drown a bit in the Kimling obsession. Just… ignore it. Let it parp and herp around and it won’t be a problem, and nor will you.

I suppose I’ve allowed myself to sink to her level.

Very well, pilots. I’ll endeavor to be beyond reproach.

Having had the time to reflect having been presented recently with concerns from my Executive Staff and the crews under my command regarding my personal conduct and behaviour in public and the attendant lack of dignity inherent in the pursuit of personal vendetta. While it is a painful thing to admit my own faults, I would find it a greater fault to dismiss concerns of those whom I feel a duty and obligation towards as leader due to personal conceits of arrogance and hubris.

As such, while I recognize that a historical animus has existed between myself and Commander Kim for some years, I no longer feel its further pursuit in the future is warranted nor desired insofar as it would prove a diminution of dignity that offers only in its display of divisiveness and discord the fodder of criticism for those who bear ill will and hostility towards the Caldari peoples.

I do not believe apologies are required for neither duty or obligations binds one to another, but in the interests of accord I find no other path forward but to ensure a commitment to cease in such behaviour as in the past towards Commander Kim.

I wouldn’t say that. With the amount of ■■■■ Diana has pulled on people and friends she causes the problem by simply existing at this point.

If by divisiveness you mean Diana shooting her fellow StatePro members or threatening to shoot them if they show up to a defensive fleet during a system siege, then yes.

Then it will not be first, or even last time, I am willing to work with people whose beliefs I do not share; politics I do not agree with; or who have engaged in violence towards me in the past in order so that I accomplish goals and objectives I consider of more importance than mere personal disagreements.
