All my alts have Nike in the name, so conincidently if someone else has that in thier name as well you could acuse me of it i guess, but otherwise you won’t find any other responses from me about that.

That being said… having Corp names/Alliances show wouldn’t show which are my alts if i didn’t follow a naming scheme like i do.

For a game that has survived 19 years, this is a HUGE step in the wrong direction. CCP said many times that it wouldn’t sell things like skillpoints for money yet here we are today. This is an abuse of trust with the playerbase and whilst I understand the need to make money and return for investors, you do so at the condemnation from your loyal playerbase who’ve stuck with you over these last 19 years.

Seriously, don’t do this. Don’t cross also this line. If past history of player rage in these two decades taught you something, then you know where it’s going. When sixteen respected players from all groups and trades beg you not to do this, you should really listen. You know fully well where it’s going. And nobody wants to go there (again).

I see things like this and folks… people warned us about pearl abyss making promises then slowly encroaching on it. It’s how they killed Black Desert Online. And I’m sure Eve will be no exception to this. Promises made but not kept. I’m surprised I even still care anymore. I spend more time in comms and less in game. One of my subscriptions lapsed for almost 2 weeks… I didn’t even notice. lol

Keep shooting yourself in the foot PA.

Ccp has to pay their bills somehow. I really do not see any issues with their sales to keep the server running. If people stop plexing their accounts maybe they dont have to do these type of sales you hate so much.

How entitled do you have to be to think this is all about you?

I made a statement about the responses in this thread from all the first time posters and you decided to jump in and own it. Makes you look guilty, brother. Why are you feeling so guilty?

Mr Epeen :sunglasses:

You replied to me when you did it… i assumed you were directing the comment at me.

i support this statement

All I see is a 45m isk ship being sold for cash. About a weeks worth of training being sold. A potential for more interest in mining, mining mods, bigger mining ships. More ore/gas/moon materials on the market. Cheaper prices for manufacturers as materials flood the market. Cheaper ships that sell faster. Most of that has to do with the new compression mod though, not this pack. I guess I’m dense and don’t see the leap between selling a mining frigate for cash to selling a titan for cash ever happening. Literally every single pack in the EVE store is catered towards new players. A Titan would be worth like 80k PLEX. About $2.5K USD. A retriever is worth about what…like 15 PLEX? xD This thread/open letter is pure alarmism and whingery.

I actually logged in to these archaic forums like, and comment on this in support.

Pearl Abyss has accelerated the road to ruin for this game. I see the same schemes popping up in Eve that I saw PA do in BDO that drove people away.
In game content, that is engaging, is how you make money long term. not this gimmicky trash just milking your increasingly dwindling playerbase due to negligent changes from devs/leadership that no longer care for them, or the game those players love.

I have made RL friends from this game. My son wants to play with me, but I really just don’t know what future there will be.

Please do a U-Turn CCP. Fix broken content. Add new content. Engage your players in an honest and meaningful way again.

You don’t have a god given right to my money

Relearn that.

I agree with this whole heartedly. Scale back on monetization as a whole, as it is impacting the player economy and is continuing to erode the game. Why should players pursue industry and trade within Eve if you are going to give modules and ships away for free? Perhaps stop trying to market things and actually listen to players.
