Kickstand!! Imicus hands down. I am hit or miss on a lot of the new reskins. The Caldari line always makes me sad to see in a lot of ways while some of the others arent bad at all.
Brutix looks like a big basher, something youd put on the head of a battering ram to knock down a castle drawbridge with. Which really fits.
Not to convinced of the new “nailgun” aka rupture, muninn and broadsword redos. Classic power nail gun was kinda funky for me.
All the capital ships I loved seeing as they are ancient marine animals in design and I loved that looking at them and realizing where the inspiration came from.
And whoever hates the speedy “slug” aka the cynabal you need to put salt on that wound cuz your butt hurt!! That thing will always look great.
A great idea would be to have a ship design competition amoung players. Some event trade in perhaps that will determine which idea of a hull will be the next hull design like CCP did the which race T3D came first sort of thing would be interesting.
The Osprey and Bellicose by a very wide margin are the most ugly ships in the game, I actually liked the old Moa model, though I prefer the new one of course.
Cynabal also really bugs me as the model is extremely low res at the tail end, looks like the features have been drawn onto flat paper with crayons and then folded around the ships model. It’s my fave ship at the moment but I don’t like looking at it too closely.
Cynabal cant be improved keeping even a reminiscence of current shape. I dont see how. It needs complete redesign and new concept. The line of ships is looking a lot better than Cynabal tho. Dramiel is perfect.
If artist wanted cruiser, he could take inspiration from Dramiel. Instead he took inspiration from a snail.
Imicus still gets my vote. Looks like it is bent in the middle.
Straighten it up like the Myrmidon, maybe with some stubby wings sticking out the sides. Preferably two but if they want to keep some of the asymmetry then just one, but make it looks like a sensor wing and not a kickstand!
Nothing beats the Imicus as the worst-looking ship in EVE. Everything else listed is kinda nice. Osprey/Basi? Ferox? Nah, those are nice ships. I’ve actually had such a dislike for the Imicus (and am pretty vocal about it) that my corp rips on me with it all the time, going to the extent of trying to gank me in a battleship which resulted in this:
Looks nice! A much better middle ship between the Dramiel and the Machariel, the design is more in keeping with the other 2 and it looks like a natural progression. Where is that model from?
